Absolutely wonderful! This place was better than I had expected because the staff at Hotel St. George made us feel welcome and at home. They were not only friendly but extremely accommodating. The table in the apartment was small for our needs so they generously offered us use of a conference room with large table. As for the rest, the beds were comfortable and the food in the restaurant was good. I was worried about the street parking, but they told us where we could find a spot for free so no problems there. All in all a perfect stay.

The entire experience was great. Lovely building, perfectly preserved, yet modernized to today’s standards. Tranquil village in a rural location yet a short scenic drive away from many beautiful attractions: medieval Gruyère, Maison Cailler, La Maison du Gruyère and Gorges de la Jognes.

As a solo traveler, I greatly appreciated Saloua's thoughtfulness and attention to detail. She went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, taking into consideration factors such as weather conditions and distances. It's evident that she genuinely cares about her guests' experiences. I also have to mention their lovely dog, Eko. Eko is incredibly sociable and friendly, adding an extra element of warmth to my stay. I truly felt like a valued guest in their home.
