We used this hotel to visit the Augsburg Christmas Market. We were able locate the property easily and we were able to park very close in a nearby parking garage. The room was very large and more than met our needs and expectations. Shower room was separate from the toilet room and both were quite nice. The Breakfast Room was very nice. I think people from the city might enjoy eating there as well. It seemed like people were coming in from the outside.

Augsburg is a very elegant and beautiful city. The streets are lined with colorful stylish buildings, most rebuilt to the original plans following one of the heaviest allied bombings in 1944. The church of St Ulrich & Afra is a marvel, as is the Golden Hall in the Rathaus. The unique water system and the Fuggerei social housing complex also make Augsburg stand out in a historical context

Beautiful, clean city, with very interesting architecture.
Beautiful, clean city, with very interesting architecture. It is worth to visit Schaezlerpalais and the house of Leopold Mozart. It is very easy to walk throught the city where you can find everything you need. There is many nice restaurants, where they offer good and tasty food or small caffes for good coffee with a great cake. Our favorite restaurant was Aposto Augsburg.

A really interesting place with beautiful architecture.. but very busy. We were really interested in the small museum upstairs in St Anna’s church about Luther. It was very informative and well put together. The hotel Jakoberhof was right opposite the Feuggeri - the oldest social housing project in the world which was fascinating. We ate once at Burger meets Falafel which was just round the corner from the hotel.

Augsburg is rich in culture.
Augsburg is rich in culture. All the sightseeing spots are accessible with the street train and by walking. Diverse food culture. The locals were gracious enough to help us with giving us directions etc in English so we were thankful for that.
We’ll go back again in a heartbeat.
Great apartment in super area, just a short walk from main squares and shops. Very clean, good quality sheets and pillows. Good amount of storage space. Everything seemed pretty new and the kitchen was adequately equipped although we didn't eat in at all. Our apartment 201 had a washing machine which was marvellous because we stayed for nearly a week before moving on to other parts of Germany. There was also an airer for drying the clothes and an iron and ironing board.
It's right across a small street from the famous Fuggerei.
A walkable (for young people) distance from the main square. I even walked to/from the main train station. For the rest there's a tram line 1 (currently a replacement bus B1) to/from the main train station.
The room has a sink, which comes handy for washing you face/teeth.
Quite clean and nice for a hostel. I'd say it's more of a hotel except the WC and bathroom are shared.
We enjoyed our stay at the Dorint hotel very much: price of the room was including breakfast, the room itself was specious end well designed, the beds very comfortable and we had a nice view from the balcony. It was not possible to park out car in the adjacent parking garage, but the alternative was also fine. All-in-all, it was one of the best hotels we stayed for that price, location and facilities.
Located in Augsburg's down town, a few steeps from main sights and railway station, this comfortable hotel was a great surprise. The room was cosy and quite, fulfilling all you need for a pleasant stay there.
The breakfast was wide, varied and very good.
Special mention for all staff members for his sympathy and collaboration at all times that made feels like home.
Hotel is amazing, very comfy room, netflix is available (if you have your own account), and there is complimentary drink in the room and also few coffee capsules and tea bags for use. There was available parking in the garage (but if you use it, it is charged additional 12 eur per night).
This is an outstanding hotel with very friendly and welcoming staff. We appreciated the large room, antiques on each floor, and the central location. We travel occasionally though this part of Germany and will definitely stay here again.
Clean, comfortable room. Nice shower (better than most in Europe). Friendly, professional, welcoming staff. Hotel was in decent location, moderately close (walking distance) to Hauptbahnhof, as well as central attractions.
The room was super neat and clean. We need a parking and it was provided there. The gas station was right besides the hotel. It was fairly close to central train station (Hauptbahnhof).
It was great for our quick stop to rest and sleep before continuing the trip. Hotel is not far from highway. Staff is friendly, stores are nearby, room was clean and comfy.
Beautiful Bavarian hotel downtown Augsburg with excellent buffet breakfast in very comfortable dining room with a friendly, efficient hostess who made us feel welcome.
