We actually had an apartment and it was wonderful. Close to public transport that got you to main train station and short trips to Freiburg & even Basel. View from balcony was magnificent. Breakfast was very good, they actually served you it was not buffet style. Restaurant on property was convenient for dinner & drinks without leaving. Plenty of free parking.

This feels like a very small hotel and accompanying restaurant. I really felt like I had gone back in time a little bit, in a good way. Breakfast was great, and the (shared) bathroom was recently renewed, it was spotless. Overall, I was highly impressed by the quality for the price.

We adored the location. The breakfast was lovely, as was dinner there. The staff were amazingly courteous. We didn’t make a dinner reservation for one of our evenings there and all of the other restaurants in the village were full. Zum was booked as well, but they found a way to fit us in.
