My dog loved the treats they had waiting for him in the room, he at the whole bag as quickly as possible. And as far as treats for humans, at breakfast, they had CRISPY bacon and I had to keep myself from eating all of it. In Europe, it is RARE to get crispy bacon, it is usually very undercooked by American standards. Oh, and the room was super nice! There was a big window and patio overlooking an open grassy area which was very calming. The bed was very comfortable. Awesome shower with excellent water pressure. Really a fabulous place.

The staff were a wonderful combination of relaxed, yet ever-helpful. The breakfast was substantial and varied. With the windows closed, the room was extremely quiet. The location was great for exploring back roads, as well as being a launching point for day trips. Bonus...a great big deep bathtub!
