Location was a good distance from town that it wasn't noisy but still close enough to walk to the train station.
Room didn't have a kettle, but when asked for one at reception I was given one. The staff were excellent, only one thing to note, when recommending the restaurant Herrschaft's to foreign customers please let them know to take cash as they only accept German cards. Good choice for breakfast.

The breakfast was really cheap but really nice, so great value for money. The bed was comfortable. Enough room to move around. There was a fan in the room which was much appreciated, and a big tv. Parking is free and the drive to Erfurt isn’t too far, which was great.

A blend of Colour, Cultural and Architectural Gems
Erfurt is a perfect base for exploring the state of Thuringia. This lively and cultural town is home to the spectacular Erfurt Cathedral and Augustinian Monastery, Merchants Bridge, and the renowned Krämerbrücke.
The best way to explore Erfurt is by foot, and whilst doing so ensure to wander through Stadtpark and Egapark and stroll around the Old Town which is lined by colourful and medieval houses.

One night and a day in Erfurt is sufficient to see the sights. It's worth a trip. The hotel is 10/15 minutes walk for the station and is a clean, value-for-money place well-located for what you need to see. I had a small, single room which was perfectly adequate for one night.

This is a most interesting town dating from 1200 at least.
This is a most interesting town dating from 1200 at least. There was a Jewish community from 10000 and I went to the Alte Synagog and would recommend it for information about a possible UNESCO site and a recreation of one of the oldest synagogues in Europe. Also - 14th century treasure! Unbelievably saved from 1349 - jewellery, rings, coins, all in excellent condition,.
I was also privileged to go to a Christmas Service at St Michaels Church (near to the theatre) which is the home of Ukrainians in Germany,

A delightful town to wander around.
A delightful town to wander around. The restaurants tended to close around 9 pm, (in October) but there are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. A couple of convenient trams wind their way through the centre from the station. Unusually for Germany, Erfurt was not heavily bombed so there is an interesting mix of architectural styles.
It would be good if Tourist Information could provide route maps identifying points /houses of interest. (We found the Altes Synagogue hard to find)

Erfurt is beautiful.
Erfurt is beautiful. A little taste of history, all the buildings are well preserved. Very easily accessible by foot and public transit, although the frequency of trains slows down early in the evening.
The cafes and restaurants are all wonderful. We ate at the Schnitzeler in Domplatz on the first night, which was excellent and with huge portions. During the day, getting a wurst from one of the street vendors in Domplatz is a must. If you are craving Ramen, check out JEN. The Hirsch Heinrich Sommergarten is the perfect place to spend an afternoon.
For sights, you need to check out Domplatz, Kramerbrucker and Anger Plaza. If it's a hot day, I highly recommend going to the outdoor pool at Nordpark.

Erfurt is a beautiful town full of charm and magic.
Erfurt is a beautiful town full of charm and magic. There are so many things to see most out of doors and without admission charges. The cathedral is very impressive. There’s a bakery on every block that serves great sandwiches-better than most restaurant dinners. There a more cafés than you can imagine all with wonderful specialties especially if you’re into coffee and cake, eiskaffee, or chocolate.

The Augustinerkloster and Old Synagogue tours were both excellent-highly recommend. If you are looking for a good breakfast, try Cafe del Sol. It is a little outside of town, but the bus stops very close to it.
The Haus is a beautiful piece of property located in the heart of the old town of Erfurt. It is a redone old building that is very nicely appointed and very modern on the inside. Our room, on the ground floor, was very quiet and very up-to-date with its furnishings. The room was spotless and the bathroom in particular was excellent.
The breakfast room is very modern and inviting and bright. Maximilian served a very good traditional breakfast that was more than we really needed to start the day.
It was a little room, which is OK, but having the bed near the inside wall seem to make sound travel into the room and whenever someone got up or moved around i was woken.
I never even saw anyone in the hotel, which for a central hotel is a little weird.
The instructions were good and quite easy to follow, luckily, as there was not much time between my arriving and the evening event.
I love that someone meets you and takes you to the room instead of an entry code. Reserved free secured parking on premises is excellent. The apartment had everything you might need and was comfortable and quiet. It seemed like it was going to be a long walk into center of town but it was not. Nice walk to all major sites. Will stay here again when in Erfurt.
The room was clean and warm, and the bed was comfy. The shower was hot and had excellent water pressure. Frau Bitterer was very friendly and takes obvious pride in her guesthouse.
It's so conveniently located - 15 minutes on foot from the train station, 10 or so from the Altstadt and the Krämerbrücke, and there's an Edeka about five minutes on foot.
A warm welcome from our host, including a bowl of fresh fruit, made for an auspicious start to our short visit to Erfurt. This spacious apartment, furnished exactly as shown in the pictures, is just a block away from the famous Merchants’ Bridge.
we got a warm welcome and were guided well about how to park our car at the hotel´s premises and where to eat in the neighbourhood.
the room was impeccable. The breakfast was delicious
Excellent location, close to everything, small street. excellent apartment, had all we needed. excellent and friendly host. best service. Our choice whenever we visit Erfurt again.
It was a clean and very reasonably priced hotel in an industrial estate outside the town of Erfurt. The tram stop was very nearby. It was comfortable and clean.
