every employee we encountered was pleasant and informative and helpful: lobby desk, dining room (REALLY enjoyed meeting and talking with Zringa every morning!) room: view, comfortable bed breakfast: excellent choices, quality, service, ambiance & view location: perfect 'gathering' room next to lobby: very interesting furnishings... great view!

Wonderfully comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Food was very tasty. We were in the area visiting Kloster Andechs and this is the perfect overnight stay!

Amazing room with a huge bathroom and a wonderful balcony towards the back with evening sunshine. Free coffee and tea at the main reception area. Wonderful selection of frozen meals and a microwave all very reasonably priced, lovely garden to relax or have a coffee. Amazingly friendly and helpful staff. We only stayed one night but could easily have stayed here for a couple additional nights. Great location to explore the Ammersee area by bicycle (they have a dedicated bicycle garage)

The >500 years of history for this hotel - explained with pleasure by one of the owners - was amazing to learn and you could almost feel it when seeing all the little details of this building. Just very exceptional. Another highlight: The breakfast is just perfect - local, great choice and super friendly staff to help.
