I do t recomend this Hostal .not a hotel
They do not have parking they charge you 10 euros more . The room is not clean. And there is no staff at the hostal the room is very small . Plus you can not sleep as this Hostal is very close to the train station so every 10 min pass a train close and the noise is just insupportable. Definitely bad experience 😞

The room we stayed in was modern, clean, and very comfortable. The breakfasts were superb. The hosts were very attentive to our needs. We also received a free pass for local transportation, and it’s just a short stroll to the train station. By the way, if you are allergic to down products (comforter, pillows), let the hotel know before your arrival!

The best thing about Lörrach is that it is near the Fondation Beyeler and Basel but with less expensive lodging and restaurants. The Greek restaurant next to our hotel was fantastic! We ate there twice but there were several other restaurants nearby.

In many places in the black forest you get a Konus or Schwarzwald card that allows you to travel on regional transport for free for the duration of your stay. The area you can travel is huge including most of the Black forest area. It's defininately worth asking about this. Surprisingly amazing little place with loads of nearby shops. We went to the design museum which was interesting and well worth a look if you’re into design, architecture etc. There is a ruined castle nearby with a beer garden and the train station is right across the road from the hotel. We did not spend much time here, but the time we had here was great. The room was big and spacious, the staff was friendly and accommodating. We ate at the restaurant and the food was fantastic. The view from the hotel and restaurant is gorgeous. And the breakfast in the morning was also very good value for money. The hotel was beautiful and the breakfast buffet was well worth the price as there were many items to choose from as well as coffee made to your specifications.
