There was a lovely village within walking distance which had an authentic restaurant. The Hotel itself was charming and typical basque structure . The proprietor was knowledgeable , likeable and answered all our questions .The room we were allocated looked out on a mountain view . The breakfast served was delicious .

This place is very popular with Camino de Santiago walkers, however we were just there for 2 nights before meeting up on a Picos Trek. He gave us some local info on walks which was lovely and quiet.
