The views from the bar, the dining room, the rooftop solarium and the balcony of the room are fantastic. Everywhere is super clean and smells wonderful. Breakfast is varied and the omelettes and fried eggs are great. The food in the bar is good and all of the staff were exceptional, particularly Angela and Isabel. We would definitely recommend. The little touches of free drinks in the minibar were a bonus.

Fantastic location yards from the sea front. The room had a balcony overlooking the sea front. Very modern hotel which was very clean. We did not expect a bottle of prosecco cava and macaroons waiting for us in the room with a welcome note from the manager. We had evening meal and breakfast at the hotel and both were excellent with a comprehensive range of options.

Almunecar is a small seaside resort which has two separate bays, one with a promenade where restaurants overlooking the sea can be found and small fishing boats used to be launched. The other bay has more activity with outdoor cocktail bars and parasols on the beach, which is close to the resorts main shops. Wonderful city and extraordinary people. The Roman ruins and the castle are wonderfully preserved. The archaeological museum is worth visiting. Almuñécar is a great town with very nice beaches.
Almuñécar is a great town with very nice beaches. Lots of bars and restaurants with great tapas. The fort is well worth a visit with great views of the surrounding area. The old town is very quaint and on the seafront there a walk up to a viewing platform overlooking the sea.

Lots of restaurants open even in February. Beach restaurants also open. Food shops fabulous for self caterers, meat, fish, fruit, bread and cakes all good. Even a wonderful dressmakers shop that replaced a faulty zip at minimal cost.

Almuñecar is a bit mixed. .
Almuñecar is a bit mixed. .The town has centuries of history, but a lot was ruined by wars and earthquakes. It shifted to budget tourism from sugarcane and fishing in the 1960s. Now it's going upmarket. It's surrounded by orchards and hills, and has some lovely areas of charming villas. Culturally, it's a bit special. Even though it's a small town, It has an arts centre with a decent theatre. There are concerts two or 3 times a week, even in winter, and jazz, flamenco and theatre festivals in the summer. Good restaurants, nice beaches. Public transport isn't great unless it's midsummer, so if you don't have a car, I suggest that you stay somewhere near the centre.

After cycling around Spain we were looking forward to a couple of days out the saddle and this apartment was the perfect relaxation. Perfect location, great views of the ocean from the balcony. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need from cooking facilities to catching up on the washing. The bus station is a 20 minutes easy walk where you can catch a bus to Granada and other destinations. There are restaurants and bars nearby or you can walk into the town.

This one was definitely the best of them, maybe one of the best hotels we ever stayed at. Great location, amazing interior of the entire hotel, looked nice, smelled nice, the infinity pool and the bar on the roof was absolutely amazing. Breakfasts and dinners also amazing. Plus, the hotel wasn't overcrowded, the staff was very friendly. We wished we could have stayed more than two nights.
