This colonial-style hotel on the Costa Adeje features a luxurious spa and beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean. It offers 5 swimming pools, surrounded by sun terraces and gardens.

The property was very beautiful. Upon arrival I was greeted by staff who take my luggage into their care. I was a bit early so they stored my luggage and invited me to enjoy Cava by the poolside. Once my room was ready they gave me a courtesy called and the bellman took my luggage all the way to my villa. The bellman showed me everything about the villa & it was absolutely stunning.

Flamingo Beach Mate, hotel in Armeñime

Flamingo Beach Mate is set in Adeje and has an outdoor swimming pool, a children's pool, a fitness center and a garden. Among the various facilities are a terrace and a bar.

The staff was so lovely and welcoming, especially Beatriz, who was super kind and helpful! The hotel was so beautiful and in the perfect location for walking all around Adeje. The room and facilities exceeded our expectations, as they looked much bigger in person than in pictures. Our stay included breakfast and it was probably the best we've had during hotel stays-- tons of options and a beautiful terrace to sit on. We will absolutely be returning here if we are lucky enough to make our way back to Tenerife!

Catalonia Oro Negro, hotel in Armeñime

Catalonia Oro Negro is less than 10 minutes’ walk from Playa de las Américas Beach in southern Tenerife. The hotel features free WiFi, a large outdoor swimming pool and rooms with satellite TV.

The evening entertainment was really good and the daytime pool area games were great fun. The animacion staff are lovely, funny and kind. Shout out to Tamara and Aldring 😊 Although at the top of a gentle-ish sloping hill, the location was still good to walk to Los Cristiano's plus a bit of the Adeje beach area as the streets all interconnected. We also used the local bus to the Los Cristianos market on a Tuesday. We got off at the central bus station stop and it was a straight walk down the road to the beach where the market was beside the Arona Gran Hotel.

Adrián Hoteles Jardines de Nivaria, hotel in Armeñime

The luxurious Hotel Jardines de Nivaria is set next to Fañabé Beach in southern Tenerife. It offers exotic gardens with 2 outdoor pools, a spa and stylish rooms with free Wi-Fi and a private balcony.

Fantastic location right on the beach with loads of food and drink options. The heated outdoor pool was spacious and relaxing. The suite overlooking the sea had a huge balcony and we were able to sit at night and read under the stars with the sound of the ocean waves. Even with the busy boardwalk below it was quite calm and pleasant. The view was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

    Armenime is a good base.

Armenime is a good base. As a location to visit for its own sake - it has no value - alright, I liked the machine shop, the rubble in the local dried out river, the banana fields used and disused littering the landscape. This is a slice of 'real canarias' where the work to support the local people goes on. It is not a beauty spot but is so different to northern europe I enjoyed walking round it. Once was enough. Its value is as a crossroads with easy road access to desirable locations - that meant i could mix walking trips in the mountains with beach visits as and when I wanted to do one or the other.
