Baga is a small town in the high pre-Pyrenean mountain range...
Baga is a small town in the high pre-Pyrenean mountain range comprising the Cadi and Moixero ridges. Its a very good base to explore the area. It has a few restaurants and some interesting shops and was undergoing major improvements to its infrastructure.
We asked for a 3 persons room and we got a room with two floors! Totally unexpected. Rooms were big enough, beds were confy and bathroom was clean and refurbished. No unpleasant noises could be heard. Breakfast was tasty and plenty of options to chose from. Parking can be found close by to the premises of the hotel -though in our case, our car was 'vandalised' at nigh: be found mirrows and petrol lid ripped off. Guess it can happen anywhere.
Other than that Baga is a nice and interesting city to discover.
Very nice small apartment with all the facilities we needed. Great views and located at walking distance to the centre of Bagá. The apartment was clean and the host is a very friendly lady who we met outside. We had good communication with the host. There's a lot of free parking spaces in front and supermarkets nearby. Bagá is a nice little town perfect for hiking or mountain running, surrounded by other nice villages and the larger city Berga.
Well-equipped, clean and modern apartment in an incredible location right in the centre. Easy access to the trails and perfect for participation in one of the trail running events (e.g. Moixero trail) that departs from Baga. The fly screens were a godsend given the lack of AC in Summer.
See below.
The Cal Batista was OK - we had a nice view of the mountains and the stay was economical. My ratings reflect the stay in the Cal Batista.
When we visited in October, there were no other hotels in town - I think there may be more in summer.
Emergency stay due to snow closing roads. I think the staff were unprepared for a sudden influx of visitors so struggled to cope but at least they did manage and we were lucky to have the Hotel so nearby.
Very well equipped spacious apartment. Super clean. Nice views. Short walk to shops and restaurants. Close to some great hikes. Bagà is a good base for exploring the Cadi-Moixero Natural Park.
The apartment was spacious and well equipped. It was a short and pleasant walk to the village centre. Our host Francesc was very helpful. We enjoyed hikes near Bagà and near Gosol.
Clean, good location. The hotel is attached to a church and gives it a nice feeling
We got a room which was almost as bit as an apartment. Breakfast was ok. Nothing special.
