As Visually Impaired and traveling alone I rate the hotel as excellent and the staff supportive when and as required without being obtrusive. Lovely people.My one suggestion in their planned refurbishment would be to mark the edge of steps in Black or White dependant on the floor color.x

We booked into this apartment on the 3rd June 2019 at around...
We booked into this apartment on the 3rd June 2019 at around 11pm - but it was tiny and horrible and the mattress was hard and uncomfortable and very old. So - we ended up booking into a hotel around 2am. There was no room for clothes. There was a wardrobe in the main bedroom - half full of scabby looking sheets and blankets and housing an ironing board and iron in the other half. When we shut the front door we literally couldn’t open it again and the side door opened onto a locked grill that refused to open from the gap between the door and the grill, so it could only be unlocked from outside. There were bars up all the windows so if there ever is a fire there you’d be burnt to a crisp before you could get out... There was a bare light bulb in the bathroom and the decor was reminiscent of the 50/60s with an amazing amount of someone’s rubbishy clutter everywhere. Be very aware of this place! If nothing else it’s a serious fire hazard. Weather was lovely though!

Really liked the staff they were very welcoming and friendly, the food was lovely especially breakfast. The hotel do need to review he key situation as it takes some organising for couples to access the room separately as you only get one key, also the door to get to the rooms had to be electronically opened from behind the bar and you had to wait until someone noticed you!! The rooms could do with updating as they are a little worn
