….personal recommendations of restaurants and places to visit which were well received. The hotel also catered for dogs, and my little Bella had a great time running round the beautiful garden. We could have stayed much longer as the hotel and Gijon were so nice.

We stayed here on our way from the ferry in Bilbao on our way to Galicia and we definitely chose the best place! This is a beautiful country guesthouse in a quiet rural enclave with spectacular views and a wonderful welcome. Just ten minutes' drive from the centre of Gijon, it offers the best of both worlds - a restful, peaceful country retreat and easy access to the city centre and beaches. Cristina could not have been more attentive and hospitable. The rooms are lovely with real attention to detail from the artisan toiletries to the freshly cut off flowers. We had a garden room that looked out over the gardens and rolling fields and beyond over Gijon. The breakfast was amazing and plentiful, complete with homebaked shortbread! Cristina was also very pet friendly which was much appreciated. We will be back! We highly recommend to anyone staying in Gijon.AnneIreland
