Exceptional place, excellent view, huge rooms, dreamlike balcones, cleanness, functionality, cosiness. It looks like an Austrian hotel in Tirol rather than a Canarian one.
Hotel Sonia Chipude is located in El Cercado, 8.1 miles from Garajonay National Park. Each room at the 2-star hotel has mountain views, and guests can enjoy access to a restaurant and to a bar.

Staff is great. Really friendly and cozy. The room was nice and super clean but a little bit cold (late November) but there was a well functioning heater.
Best option quality/price-wise

I liked the quiet location, beautiful views and easy access to many different trails.
Set on the tiny Canary Island of Gomera, this small and quiet apartment complex has an outdoor pool overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and is just a 5-minute walk to the fabulous local beaches.
Set in the town of Hermigua, La Cuadra features a lush garden, barbecue facilities and a terrace with mountain and sea views. The country house is 0.9 mi from Santa Catalina and its beach.

A rural house in the middle of a banana plantation, nested into the hill above the valley. Amazing views from the terrace, overlooking the valley and the sea.
Easy to find and directions well explained by the host. It is only a 15 meters path to walk from the road, albeit quite narrow, a bit steep and with few stairs (not difficult at all though, even if we were carrying a big bag and a child).
A good-size apartment with a double bed and a double sofa-bed. Kitchen included all basic appliances and kitchenware.
Communication with the host was easy and efficient, always replying in time and very helpful.
