Excellent property right on the Camino Primitivo. There is a bar a couple of doors down where we ate, and they helped us check in. Great shower! Great experience.

The location was great, right on the Camino. The hotel was small and older and a little noisy. Since most of the guests were Pilgrims on the Camino, it became quiet when it was time for Bed. Overall, it was clean and in the perfect location.

Casa Castrelo is a small house located near the albergue with three bedrooms - one with a full bed, one with two twin beds, and one with a bunk bed. The kitchen has a stove top and a full-size refrigerator. The outdoor patio area was very comfortable and the hostess was friendly and helpful. The lodging is on an old country road with the nearest store about a 10-minute walk in San Romao. The location was the perfect stopping point for us on the Camino Primitivo, which was approximately a 12-mile hike from Lugo. Recommend for pilgrims who want a little more privacy than the albergue, but this is probably not the place to stay for a vacation given its remote location and small size.
