Cozy inn with fantastic staff. We had a two story room with two twin beds on second floor and a large double on main floor which was great for 3 adults. Wonderful room with a country feel. The staff are incredible speaking many languages.

The location is perfect, 10 minutes from Vielha, very quiet place, beautiful room with everything necessary.
The breakfast was outstanding but even more so as I am celiac and lactose intolerant, they have special toaster for gluten free diet and were so nice to get me a cake for breakfast also. The breakfast is very complete and good.

Garos is a pretty little town in the middle of Val d'Aran, closed to Vielha, the capital where all needed shopping and facilities are available, but far enough (about 5km) to feel the relax and enjoy the air. It is an ideal point of departure for going to some hiking. There is a point for recharging electric cars (Iberdrola).

Nice village with mandatory Architecture, houses must be built with stones and wood only. No concrete or buildings This is to respect the Valley. Streets are cleaned up in the early morning , so you can drive without fearing the snow There is a child park near to the school

My teenage daughter is lactose intolerant and they made her a meal specially. There was no vegan or even vegetarian option on the menu. The restaurant felt very upmarket but even with a bottle of wine the bill for three of us only came to 85 euros. The hotel reception had good, free walking maps of the surrounding area. They make your stay extremely pleasurable. Customer minded mindset and very helpful in and around the hotel. Going outdoors with your bike you can service and clean your bike. Going hiking they help you with planning a multi day hike. All in all a wonderful hide out or hub to explore the beautiful val d’Aran or national parc in the surroundings.

The hotel itself is clean and has great facilities although quiet when we were there so not much was open. We had a 3 course meal which was great. The breakfast was the highlight, such a great variation of food available.
