We loved Nuria’s service! She was an incredible host with lots of great recommendations to get to know the area. The hotel was beautifully decorated and has a great backyard. Breakfast was also very nice. I would 100% recommend this stay, one of the best we’ve had in our trip in northern Spain.

Comfortable spacious room and bathroom. V helpful staff. Cooked us a lovely dinner and arranged a taxi back to Caridad to continue Camino
Character and design of hotel was outstanding. There were multiple sitting areas, including an enclosed foyer with seating and vending machine for Camino walkers who depart very early in the morning. The owner-proprietor’s hospitality was excellent; he carried one of our bags to our room. When he observed we were having coffee on our departure, he brought out some cookies for us, which was totally unexpected. We loved the feel of the place. Highly recommended, one of those hotels that you do not forget!
The hotel and the rooms are intricately decorated to the finest detail. It was a delight to spend time in the sitting room in front of a grand fireplace, or lounge in the beautiful room. There was a large jacuzzi bathtub, so I took a bath! I haven’t done that in years.
The gentleman host was very helpful and friendly at every step from check-in, to telling me how to find the grocery store and where to find the best restaurant.
This is an exceptional establishment. I recommend highly.
We arrived from the Camino in a torrential downpour. Pepe welcomed us and offered us a beer and some jamòn. He was the perfect host, making sure we had everything we needed.
The hotel was once a 200 year old barn with a residence above. The attention to detail, stone walls, wooden beams and antique furniture made this a very special stay. Don’t miss it!
It's a beautiful hotel, in an old restored building. The man at the reception was super kind and greeted us with a drink upon the arrival. There is a big terrace that has a nice view over the surrounding nature. Everything very clean and the location is quiet. The bathtub even had a whirlpool function. I would always come again.
the wiener was amazingly kind and service oriented. he invites us for a drink at arrival, as we were coming from doing 30 km of the Camino De Santiago. He even offered to leave a piece of home made plum cake as we had to leave before breakfast. Rooms and bathroom were perfect. Felt very good in their hotel!!!
This hotel is just lovely. it is a traditional building that has been thoughtfully renovated and extended. The rooms are comfortable and there are plenty of communal seating areas. The grounds are also beautiful and the charming owner has all the facilities for a great party not small wedding. Worth a stay.
This is a nice hotel ie loads of character, its host most welcoming, clean and comfortable and would certainly stay here again if in La Caridad. From a pilgrim perspective down the road is a bar that does very reasonable well cooked pilgrim food at modest prices
Spectacular hotel, especially for walking the Camino Norte. Stunning facility, gardens, rooms and bathrooms. Host very kind, helpful and encouraging. 100% sure would stay here again. Would be perfect for week stay, driving around the area.
Wonderful hotel in a historic building full of character. Pepe is an absolute delight and went out of his way to make our stay 10 out of 10. Attention to detail is second to none. Highly recommend and would certainly stay here again.
The hotel is great for any occasion. The rooms are big, clean and the decoration is very nice. The host, Pepe, is very friendly and recommended me many good places to go. I recommend this hotel to anyone passing through La Caridad!
Very friendly welcome by the staff who even gave us a free beer! Hotel set in lovely grounds and our room was very clean. The very nice man at reception even gave me a cupcake as I left in the morning! Highly recommended hotel!!
Absolutely gorgeous hotel. Meticulously set up. The hotelier went out of his way to look after us on those little personal touches - like heating a dish for us, and providing wine glasses etc. The room was glorious.
The host was a friendly and generous person. The grounds surrounding the property were lovely, and the hotel was clean, spacious and immaculately maintained.
