Breakfast is good and dinner service is provided at an additional cost. In the evenings local people come to the castle for drinks and socializing. Historical guided tours of the grounds only happen for two months in the summer. Check ahead of time if they are available if this is something you would want to do.

Very interesting historical building remodeled to hotel, with spacious common areas. Very welcoming staff. Good continental breakfast in pretty morning room of hotel. Hotel faces a small plaza where it is possible to park a car without problems. We are there "low season", but still, it was very quiet location for sleeping. Warm steam heat in rooms and halls, makes it cozy.
