We (two married couples) stayed at Remanso for two nights in April. Everything about our stay at the location was delightful. The views from the rooms and terrace are breathtaking and the whole atmosphere is utterly peaceful. There are nice paved walking paths that go up into the mountains and around the village that provided peaceful and relaxing recreation. The staff catered to our every need with a smile. We ate three meals each day at the restaurant downstairs and enjoyed a great variety of traditional regional dishes and soups. They served me the best steak I ate in Spain. (Fantastic!) The lake trout was also exceptional. My wife really enjoyed the sopa castellana.
The bed was firm and comfortable. The shower always had plenty of hot water and good pressure.

We loved everything about our stay here. Ference and Paloma, the hosts, are absolutely delightful. They were so helpful with all of her questions about the area. Breakfast was a treat every morning because we got to chat with other guests from all over. If you’re looking for a quiet and beautiful place to stay look no further. If you’re traveling with children they will love the kittens in the yard, the cows in the fields, and might even get to see baby lambs (a few were born during our stay!)
