This hotel is very old (1500s) and it is an amazing experience to stay there. We loved our spacious room with its own dining/sitting room. Our host Antonio was super friendly and kind; he gave us a tour of this amazing palace and then helped us get our bicycles put in a safe place for overnight. He also provided a map of Heute for us and outlined an interesting route to take in all the town sights. We highly recommend the experience.

We choose this hotel because it was right off the highway just south of Madrid, and we wanted to avoid city traffic at the end of a long drive from the south. We hadn’t expected much but we’re pleasantly surprised by the service, food, and accommodations. We had booked a twin room which was all that was offered on booking.com, but they upgraded us to a much nicer double upstairs. The decor is quirky but charming, very homey and imaginative. We had a meal in the informal restaurant that was cheap, plentiful, and delicious. The restaurant was is open 24 hours so my husband was able to get his early morning coffee.
