We choose this hotel because it was right off the highway just south of Madrid, and we wanted to avoid city traffic at the end of a long drive from the south. We hadn’t expected much but we’re pleasantly surprised by the service, food, and accommodations. We had booked a twin room which was all that was offered on booking.com, but they upgraded us to a much nicer double upstairs. The decor is quirky but charming, very homey and imaginative. We had a meal in the informal restaurant that was cheap, plentiful, and delicious. The restaurant was is open 24 hours so my husband was able to get his early morning coffee.

For being a hostal as opposed to a hotel it was very good. I booked it by mistake try.to avoid hostals but was surprised how nice it turned out to be.

Almost everything for me was perfect. My only complaint (and this is just a personal preference) is maybe a softer pillow. Everything else about my stay was absolutely perfect and I would totally come to stay again. Another thing to note: the water pressure of the shower is F A N T A S T I C.
