Exceptional sun bed terrace with views, rustic cave like quality to rooms, traditional not modern but well equipped and quiet. Close to the centre. Parking is fine once the day trippers leave. Host messages are detailed but no direct contact.
Beautiful town, loads of trails for hiking and running.
Beautiful town, loads of trails for hiking and running. Some really nice eateries and especially the famous almond dulcerias - come early in the morning as they get pretty busy in the middle of the day!

The hotel is in a superb location for hikers as it is positioned at the intersection of many of the best walks on Gran Canaria . The building faces west and looks over the mountain tops, which gives a stunning view, especially when the sun is setting. All the bedrooms also face roughly ina westerly direction so there is no fear of missing out when reserving your stay, however the winds were very strong when we stayed there in January so not really possible to use the balcony.Tea and coffee making facilities not available, would have appreciated a welcome drink or a cup of tea on arrival and air conditioning/heating unit didn't appear to work despite the appearance of a new control unit. If you are not interested in hiking there isn't any other nearby activities, however, it is still a beautiful place to sit and enjoy the scenery.

A very pretty little town/village with a modest selection of cafes, bars and restaurants and a small but well stocked supermarket. You'll need to eat fairly early in the evening though as most places seemed to be closed by 8pm (in April).
A great base from which to access the superb hiking trails in the area.

Pay attention at the evening restaurants.
Pay attention at the evening restaurants. Some are indicated as open, but if the owner doesn’t feel like to open he won’t…. So you might spend some time to get food.
I recommend to go at the bakery dulceria de Tejeda. Great pastries 😄

Gorgeous for a short stay, great for those wanting to hike, bike or study nature. Useless for the night-lifers or those wanting the party lifestyle found in the south. Tiny town, only one shop and a farmacia. A few restaurants, but no hotel. No sophisticated. Very rural

I was on a walking holiday and so Tejeda was perfect.
I was on a walking holiday and so Tejeda was perfect. I did the long walk around Roque Nublo. Itinerary no 2 from the tourist information. Scenery in the area is superb. Strangely bars and restaurants seem to close early, possibly because the town seems to cater for day trippers.
The owners are very kind, they make you feel like family. The place is beautiful and super clean (I probably never stayed in cleaner place). The view from the balcony is exceptional. The beds were really comfy, there was even the ergonomic pillow, sheets smelled like home. There is a small first aid kit in the bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped and we had everything we needed. We would stay even longer or definitely come back when in GC/Tejeda. The photos don't really do the justice to this place, it was so much nicer.
Very nice location in a centre of beautiful Tejeda, with walk distance to restaurants, pastry-shop or supermarket Spar.
All crystal clean, brand new. Fully equipped kitchen with all you can need for cooking, if you like to.
Moka coffe maker, microwave and toaster included.
Also having a washing mashine can be quite handy.
We very apreciated welcome gift - bottle of local vine and delicious almond cookies.
Such a small thing and you imediatelly feel very very welcome :-)
The best thing is for sure location and the views, which are totally amazing. The spa is also nice, and the staff in the hotel and in the spa zone is helpful. Overall, the hotel is comfortable and beautiful, with a great interior, and even greater exterior :-) which is worth the trip on its own. The breakfast was also perfect. The dinner was a bit less impressive than it could have been, but also very nice; and the sunset was exceptional :-).
The view from the house is great. The house is very well equipped, clean and spacious.
It is walking distance from the city center of the beautiful city of Tejeda and (car) close to starts of some nice trails. The terrace is beautiful, however we've been here in January when it was quite cold and windy so we didn't had the chance to enjoy it. Free parking in front of the house. Self check-in was very convenient.
Honestly, the best stay I’ve ever had in a while. Alicia and Antonio are amazing, the place is perfection, so authentic and so close to everything in tejeda. If you are planning to do the Roque Nublo hike it’s around 20min with the car, so good location for that too!
The apartment looks like a small house, it’s full of character and has everything. I’m so happy with my stay :)
The location is fantastic with a beautiful view on the mountain and the valley from the balcony. Plenty of restuarnts and cafes nearby. The street is quiet. The person welcoming and registering us at the hotel 50m from the appartment was very friendly. Equipment is rather good.
Great location, with an amazing view on the mountains around. 15 minutes walk from the center of the village of Tejeda (no problem to reach it if you don't have a car). The house is very comfortable and it feels like home. The two terraces are great. Paola is very helping.
Our stay was outstanding. The hosts were incredibly helpful and kind. The views of Tejeda were phenomenal, and it was great to be so centrally located. We loved the hiking opportunities nearby. The place was immaculate - outstanding value. We would absolutely stay again!
The room was cosy, clean and very well-equipped. Located in a quiet lane, yet close to the village centre - it was perfect to explore the village of Tejeda. The cute li'l balcony looks out into the mountains - gorgeous views! We wished we had booked a longer stay there.
It looks it used to be the really nice place..
Any way, it"s the only hotel between 2nd and 3d legs of Camino de Santiago de Gran Canaria.
We were happy to catch the receptionist who gave us a duvet. Otherwise we would had to sleep under a sheet having +5°C outside.
The view from Casa Alba terrace was magnificent. A beautiful and clean apartment with a very well equipped kitchen. Nearby bakeries had exquisite delicacies. Overall, Tejeda and it's surroundings are a lovely place.
Beautiful location right in the center of Tejeda with magic views to the mountains. More restaurants and cake shops around. Small heaven for hikers. Vacation house comfortable and spacious.
