The hotel exceeded my expectations. First I have been upgraded from a double room to a premium double room. (A big thank you to the kind receptionist Pedro)
The room was not above the lobby but in the back, a very traditional part of the hotel with only 2 floors. The room was very very quiet, even though it was next to the lift.
The bed was so comfortable and really huge and so was the bathroom/shower as well.
The location is perfect if you are coming from the airport, or from the train station Santa Justa. From the hotel you can get to the 'Setas' in less than 10 minutes walk. There is a supermarket next to the hotel should you need something. The breakfast was good, with fresh orange juice and enough choices for everyone. The rooftop pool and sundeck were a big plus to enjoy the afternoon sun and grab a drink from the bar. The view is amazing, you can see the cathedral from the pool. I would definitely go back again.
