The staff were really friendly and very helpful. Because it is part of a gas station, it had a restaurant and convenience store attached to it.

It’s on the Camino. Had to change room because of ants. Otherwise it was ok

The welcome mat was out with all the amenities: fully stocked fridge with chilled drinks, chocolates, treats. Loved the trundle bed option.

The hospitality of Miren and Iara is wonderful. The rooms and building are comfortable and beautiful. I look forward to returning some day. I felt most welcome.
Torres del Rio is a nice little village. There's a lovely church there and you can sit outside and look out over the countryside. There's a shop that opens very early for anyone walking the camino, and they sell coffee, fruit and pastries.
This place used to be a hotel, and is now also an Albergue. we stayed in the hotel part, which has a faded glamour, and is charming in it's own way. It was clean, comfortable and the shower worked well. It is run by 2 very charming Italian Hospitaleros, who looked after us very well, were very kind and informative. Samuel did our washing for us and even hung it up to dry! It was fun to sit in the courtyard with a beer and chat to other pilgrims. It has a really nice vibe.Really recommend this place as a great stop on the Camino.
Although it's advertised as a "Hostal", it's really two facilities in one: a proper hotel, with modern, comfortable, ensuite rooms,, and an albergue, where many pilgrims stay on their way to Santiago de Compostela. The staff were all warm and welcoming, and clearly enjoyed their jobs. O had a 3-course evening meal for €15...including a very decent local bottle of red!
The hotel manager Yuri is very professional. He is such a hard worker and provides quality customer service. He is also very kind and considerate towards his customers. During my journey to Santiago de Compostela, Hotel Rural La Pata de Oca left me precious memories that I will cherish. I will pray for his during my pilgrimage.
Everything! Immaculately clean, great room and ensuite, great pool, good communication, great location right on the Camino Frances in the lovely historic village of Torres del Rio,. Loved the alfresco area of the restaurant.
The pool in the hotel and the pilgrim meal in the hotel restaurant were very nice. Friendly man in the shop gave me a free sachet of washing powder. I liked being able to use the washing machine myself.
we have stayed at this modern hotel several times and always pleased. clean and well equipped rooms. good location on the Camino. very friendly staff….even got to use the pool this time.
The manager gave excellent customer service. It had a great pool and a laundry. Our double room was big with a great bathroom. The hotel had a restaurant and offered a pilgrim menu
After a long hot day, to have access to the sister hotel's pool was extremely welcome. A really good meal in a comfortable dining room. Very clean and really helpful staff.
You can pay for using pool in a hotel close to the alberge. Pool is so good. Perfect for relaxing after long day of walking. Dinner for pilgrims in that hotel is delicious.
Location slightly away from town festival going on all night. Charming town and hotel seems to be very old like medieval times. Nice dinner in chamber in basement.
