Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean room and everywhere in the hotel kept spotless. Very Good breakfast insofar as there was the usual bread and croissant but also cereal and yoghurt and all very fresh. The bed was very comfortable for me and quite comfortable for my husband. The room was a bit small but it reflected the price, so no complaints.
The lady in reception tried to help us with the parking but our French wasn't quite up to it. What we worked out was as follows. Any parking with white outlines on the road were free to park at indefinitely. Any blue zone carparks or road spaces outlined in blue had time restrictions which were clearly marked on a signpost. You need a blue card clock "thing" which the hotel receptionist will give you free of charge, to show your arrival time. Etaples is lovely, enjoy!

Key pick up was really easy. The apartment was very clean. It was easy to park on a quiet residential street right by the apartment. The owners had clearly tried to provide well for the needs of travellers with little extras like a sewing kit and games available. Interesting decor, slightly quirky but tasteful.

Fresh produce, especially fish, veg and fruit sold at various markets make it a great place if you like cooking. The town is small but has most facilities and plenty to do, it is close to magnificent beaches and a good base for exploring the area which has much to offer.

Bes was comfortable (only positive) Floor was dirty - fire door wedged open- cigarette buts by our door - children running and screaming around corridor at 1:00am - no A/C - toilet flush fell off- sink basin rusty - rotting material in bins by door - noisy trains passing every 20 mins - no dining place available - over priced at €117 - says dog friendly but nowhere to walk them. Etaples has a lovely market square with good bars and restaurants which were used by the locals. A nice place to walk around. There are some excellent little shops with great produce. Parking in the square is abundant and free.

The view across Etaples on to port and the sea from the sunny terrace were very interesting and ever changing. Flo was chatty and attentive and entertained us at breakfast with her sailing experiences on her yacht, the ‘Lizard’. Flo can speak a little English but I am sure she appreciates her guests speaking some French to her.
