Didn't have breakfast . Because of an early flight staff were brilliant and friendly. Giselle on reception was great . And also the night porter. Very helpful. Would definitely go again and use the carpark for airport parking. Next time

We loved the hotel, our rooms were great, the service and the staff were exceptional and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They ordered our taxi's for the morning to take us to the Races and the kitchen was closed later that evening but they arranged for us to have a curry delivered to the hotel and when they forgot to deliver the rice, James the owner went out and collected them himself!
James was a fantastic host and his staff (especially the barman) couldn't do enough for us to ensure we had a wonderful time, thank you to you all!
Room and Hotel fine. One draught Lager on offer no beer only bottles. The menu offerings was not as on the Webb. No Steak no cheese and biscuits had to ask. Choice of three sweets only no fish veggie limited My wife had to have Goat cheese and salad as a main no salad dressing. One starter was off comment was it’s a new menu. But breakfast was good.

Warm, clean and comfortable but breakfast was very very basic and diy. I felt that value for money was not good. We had a change of circumstances which ment we could not travel on the Friday(booked Friday and Saturday night) but had contacted them and asked if we could change the dates to the Saturday and Sunday night instead. They said no that they were not going to do that that booking would not allow it so we had to just turn up on the Saturday having paid for the Friday and Saturday. Meanwhile we made another booking for the Sunday night and guess what happened… they gave us the same room we had been in!

Interesting place with range of ages of buildings.
Interesting place with range of ages of buildings. Lots of food outlets, looked good. Manor Hotel very faded glory: avoid.
Bus to Nottingham or Derby runs all night because of the airport. We went bus pass to Nottingham, very well worth a visit. An attractive town that could do with a good clean.
Best fabric shop my wife has seen in this country. Rolls of high quality end of line from local mills for sod-all! We brought back 2, but will be going again no doubt.
Very close to M1 and A50 so very easy to get to.

Time has caught up with the hotel since the advert was written. Sadly, my room was no longer 'bright and modern' and the shower definitely wan't a 'power shower'.
The thermostat wasn't there. The room was cold.
The TV remote had two parts mission.
The carpet was 'suspect'.
No hand soap. When asked, the hotel had "run out".
Tea and coffee was provided, but no milk. I had to go back to ask for some.
IKEA coffee mug still had a dirty sticker on the bottom.
Bathroom was.... not perfect.

The hotel is only a short walk to the airport which makes it ideal.
We have stayed a number of times, normally we book in for a night before we travel and the car is parked for the duration of our trip, this is normally booked through Holiday Extras but I omitted to to book for our return night therefore did this through Booking.com. Only disappointment with this was I had to pay an extra £5 for parking that night of our stay.

This place was perfect for what I wanted. My daughter had an early morning flight from East Midlands airport. The hotel is so close. It was clean and comfortable. The self check in worked perfectly so we could get some sleep early and also leave early. The breakfast was also perfect with lots of grab and go items. Plenty of car park spaces. The shower was amazing!!! Fantastic easy process which suited what we needed. Would highly recommend as a stop over if travelling to or from the airport. Will return again.
Suite was lovely, however bed small and creaky and cheap mattress, rest was lovely so that did let it down a bit. TVs were very small and one day didn’t work. There was no tidy up whilst we were out and one of the towels had an awful brown stain on it, we didn’t get toiletries or tea etc refilled and had to ask for more toilet roll.
On big positive the staff were lovely and friendly and I’d still recommend to others and would return. With a little investment it would be a fantastic hotel!
The facilities were what you would expect in a classic hotel, plush carpets and curtains, a comfortable spacious lobby.
Our Room was impeccably clean, comfortable and well presented and our en-suite was complete with Elemis toiletries. Our bed was large and extremely comfortable with plenty of fluffy plump pillows. The room also had air conditioning, robes and slippers were provided.
Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and the food was delicious.
Easy booking & check-in. Fairly quiet room on ground floor although only a view of the car park. Comfortable and clean bedroom. Had lovely meal from the Sunday lunch menu in the informal dining room on the Sunday evening. Good breakfast in the formal restaurant, food brought to us rather than buffet which suited us perfectly. Food could have been hotter but otherwise fine.
It was a lovely hotel tucked away in beautiful grounds by the river. Being only 5 minutes from Donnington race track, yet it felt you were miles away. Breakfast was excellent as was the evening meals as we chose to stay rather than go out. The room was very well laid out and spacious and there was plenty of good safe parking for my classic car.
The whole hotel looked new/refurbished. Room was very clean. Kitchen was well equipped, and full with food. They even kept alternative milk, which we use normally. It had a coffee machine, with different pods as well and fruits, breads, joghurts jams eggs etc
Really loved our stay
Great location. Basic but had what we needed for our stay. It was great to have our own space rather than staying in a hotel. Clean and tidy. Communication was great, I had some queries before staying and they were very helpful with information and prompt!
Everything was fine so far. The Ladys at the reception desk were very friendly and helped me with every problem I had. The room I had was comfortable and clean. If I have to work in Derby again I will stay in this hotel.
Lovely and interesting location. Great countryside view from our room. Feeling of space in the room, the rest of the hotel and the grounds. Lovely staff and a great feel to the place.
Clean, spacious compared to some hotels I've been in, lots of mirrors - zero complaints, especially at the price. Yes, the TV could be bigger, but I didn't use it much anyway!
We chose this hotel because of its competitive price and closeness to the airport. We have stayed in other days inn and find the staff helpful and the rooms comfortable.
