Great location in centre of town and not far from railway station. As a lone female traveller I felt very safe at this hotel - I was informed on arrival that there is 24 hrs manned reception, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was very clean and spacious and the courtesy tea/coffee tray very well stocked. A nice touch is that hotel guests also get to use the free refill service in the restaurant!
The bed was nice and firm, ensuring a good night's sleep.

Not much. Out dated decor, no elevator, it was like a rabbit warren.

Kings Lynn is a town of 2 halves.
Kings Lynn is a town of 2 halves. The modern commercial part is in a sad state at the moment, with the closue of so many shops in recent years, including the huge Debenhams. Regeneration plans are in hand but may take years to be completed.
Look past this though and the old part of town is a medieval gem! If you love history and architecture then you're in for a pleasant surprise. There are 3 museums telling the story of the town (all with very modest admission prices), and you can wander at leisure down streets full of half-rimberd 14th and 15th century dwellings, some with later Georgian frontages. There is also the iconic 17th century Custom House which is worth a quick visit.
When you're done with all that there are plenty of lovely cafes for a spot of lunch - try The Filling Station or Norfolk Bakery for delicious homemade cakes.

Kings Lynn has a poor reputation but we were blown away by the quite extensive historic quarter. Absolutely stunning with so many beautiful old buildings and a rich maritime history. The Hansa house next to the Minster has been faithfully preserved and contains an atmospheric tea room. While it's definitely possible to do old Kings Lynn in a day I would recommend taking a bit more time to really absorb the many things that attract attention as you wander round. A wander round the Walks is also recommended - lovely green space in the centre of town with several historic buildings. All in all, Lynn was a very pleasant surprise.

A great place to explore on foot with the beautiful Minster right in the centre, and exceptionally clean pedestrian-friendly streets. Huntstanton, with its gorgeous beaches, is only an hour away by bus. Food options are more limited than you'd get in a big city, but the places we tried (Mem's Kitchen, Bank House) were all very good.

Huge amount of history packed into a small area, easily covered on foot. Beautiful waterfront, old buildings, well signposted. Excellent museums three, and all very different. Plenty of good eating places. Cobbles teashop a delight. Plenty of parking in town centre. Good selection of shops on high street. Very good bus services to surrounding areas.

We were visiting family and also attending a function in Kings Lynn the hotel is very well situated in the centre of the town close to the shops and the historic part of the town
We met with friends in the afternoon and had an enjoyable meal with them at the pub/restaurant attached to the hotel and we all felt it was excellent value for money
This was our first time in Kings Lynn and this hotel was the ideal place to stay, right on the river front but just a short walk from the historic town. The room we had was absolutely lovely, very bright, clean and modern and yet in a beautiful historic building. The staff were so very helpful and couldn't do enough for you. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food and service was excellent. We stay in around 30 hotels a year and this was part of a 7 night tour on our Motorbike and this was by far the best accommodation.
Well located hotel for visiting Kings Lynn, easy to find with lots of on site parking. Clean modern hotel. The room was a good size with a very comfortable bed and I had one of the best night's sleep I have ever had in a hotel. Surprisingly quiet despite it's proximity to the Hardwick roundabout. Very efficient and helpful reception. Good breakfast in the restaurant. Overall a very pleasing stay and would come back here if we needed to.
This was our first stay at The Russet House and we found excellent value for money, particularly with the facilities on offer. These included free parking, a spacious room that even had room for a comfortable sofa, and not forgetting the superb breakfast. The staff were extremely friendly and polite. Next time we are in King's Lynn, we will definitely make a booking at Russet House.
Great location for both Kings Lynn town centre and also Hunstanton. Would fully recommend the place as my family had a really positive experience. The owner was extremely helpful, and was fantastic at making us feel at home and offering the best service. The veggie and non veggie breakfasts were really nice, and set us up for a good day exploring.
location in the centre of town was outstanding especially for my 86 year old mother who has mobility issues . The extra facilities such as lounge and the viability for in-hotel eating for all meals was great. I really liked Kings Lynn and would visit again . The free 24 hour hotel car parking was a bogie too ( free as we stayed for 3 days)
The location was very handy as it is so near King's Lynn train station and King's Lynn coach station. Although I have not met the lady or owner, it was very straightforward to let myself in. The owner/landlady is very careful in so many details - subsequently her home presents as very clean, pleasant and very agreeable.
This was a last minute booking as the original room fell through due to boiler issue and i am so glad it did. This was the best room my wife and I have stayed in. All facilities excellent, large room, clean bathroom and amenities. If we ever return to Kings Lynn we will definately book this room again.
We cycle tour, Wetherspoon Hotels are always excellent when it comes to communicating about overnight storage of our bikes and are very helpful in enabling us to do so. The Globe at Kings Lynn is a very good hotel with very good staff.
The hotel is very nice with a genuine period feel. The hotel location was excellent but the lack of parking was an issue for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size with a very comfortable bed.
Lovely place in a quiet location. Comfortable well appointed rooms. Very pretty garden area with chairs and a couple of tables, nice to sit in with morning coffee or tea. Overall a beautiful, quaint, and cozy hotel.
My wife and I had a very pleasant surprise at the Lodge in Kings Lynn from the moment we arrived till when we left.
the room was nicely decorated and furnished with nice little touches and the breakfast was wonderful.
Possibly the best B&B in Kings Lynn. It is always a pleasure to stay here. Hosts are lovely and very helpful. Lovely rooms and great breakfast. The flasks of fresh milk are brilliant idea. Perfect in every way.
Our first stay at Wetherspoon hotel , and we were really happy with everything , efficient friendly service , good quality rooms , and a good location . Would definitely be happy to use them in the future .
Beautiful bed and breakfast hotel. Clive was a lovely host. Breakfast was very good and The Old Rectory is in great walking distance next to a nice park which leads to the centre of Kings Lynn.
The staff were amazing, super helpful and very friendly. The hotel has been up kept really well and the decor is lovely. The location is good, parking was easy and it was very clean.
Pub was in a perfect location for exploring historic Kings Lynn. Room was large and comfortable. Member of staff that greeted us was friendly. Good choice of good eateries nearby.
I did not have any meals at the property, but the staff had the courtesy of asking and offering me meals. The location was ideal for my work in Kings Lynn.
