Amazing location, really close to the train station and a local shop, lovely woodlands nearby and an absolutely beautiful room! Arrived at 10pm and the staff were very accommodating and allowed for a late checkin, the room was very clean, comfortable, and cozy, would 100% recommend and stay again :)

The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and as my 5 year old granddaughter stated the showers were awesome. Links to central Edinburgh were excellent.The swimming pool was really good.Breakfast in the restaurant was an extensive buffet with a wide variety of both continental and cooked items. We were attending to support a participant in the Edinburgh Marathon and it was easy to get to the start by tram or train.

Beautiful and serene grounds. We were only there for one night and unfortunately it rained so heavily so we were unable to enjoy the outdoor golf course and walking trail. It looks like we’ll have to come back!

The cottage has the most beautiful gardens and the village is perfect with shop, pub, take away and a park perfect for the dog. Train to Edinburgh 300 yards down the road. Beach and Livingston short drive away. It has it all!
