Great experience, went to see grandson in show, but decided to stay overnight. Great place to walk round, nice architecture and variety of shops - scotney castle 10 minutes away
One on the best places to eat from all places I’ve visited - the grill restaurant at the barn. Excellent food and great value, if I lived locally it would be weekly visit without a doubt.

Pleasant town for sight seeing.
Pleasant town for sight seeing. Good transport facilities by local transport. There are a reasonable number of eating places and the usual Coffee chains offering refrehments. The Pantiles is the usual visiting spot for small shops and antiques. There is a central Railway with connections all over the country. Has bus and taxi services too. There is a local library in the town centre with an interesting museum. There is an extensive shopping mall as well. There are some parks and some hills that could be explored, all near the centre of town

It is a very interesting town.
It is a very interesting town. There are many fascinating buildings dating from the Georgian period, including the Pantiles.
The shopping area, although small, has several quality outlets.
The general vibe of the town centre is very good especially at night.
Of course, Tunbridge Wells is set amongst beautiful Kent countryside.
A great place to visit.

Despite the early morning cleaners - the noise was intolerable and we could have done with a lie in, considering we didn’t have to check out until 11 - we left by 9! We only had one night booked but expected more . For the price, breakfast should have been included .

We stayed at this hotel over the weekend and we’re very pleased with everything we found there. A very clean, quirky, quiet hotel with great decor, very friendly polite staff and our room was perfect ( superior king room). The breakfast was great, hot and very tasty! I would highly recommend The mount edgecumbe hotel.

If you want to stay in Tunbridge Wells, this hotel is very well-located on the Pantiles, and an easy walk from the station and near some bars. The breakfast was very good and the staff were conscientious about allergens. There was a concierge into the early hours of the morning. Décor was great too. Late check out time of 11 is handy. Would definitely stay here again if I needed to come back to the area. Image is of the beautiful ceiling in the breakfast area
We had such a fantastic stay at The Spa Hotel! It was my husbands birthday, very kindly the manager let me send balloons and a banner and they put them up in our room. The room was modern, very clean and had everything you needed. The pool, sauna and steam room were a real treat and the gym looked great. It was a lovely walk to the centre, not too far at all. All of the staff were very friendly and made our stay very special. The entire hotel is beautiful.
The hotel is situated in trees and greenery on the common within easy 10 min walking distance of the town centre.
On site car parking on a first come first served basis,
Very spacious well appointed room , separate comfortable seating area and excellent bathroom with a roll top bath and rain shower.
We took Sunday lunch in the upstairs dining room , nice round table for two , very good service.
All the staff were friendly and helpful.
Lovely hotel with all the facilities you would want for a break. Easy access from the town centre, lots of parking, lovely grounds to walk in and excellent staff. As a family travelling with a <1yr old it was also fantastic that we were able to have a room close to the bar where our baby monitor could still reach :) thank you for making us feel so welcome and being so accommodating!
Nothing to like about this Hotel it was an absolute dump, paid £506 to stay 3 nights dirty, grubby, run down with noisy dogs barking at all hours it’s a dog hotel also which we didn’t know when booking. Breakfast was poor and cold definitely wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone it’s a disgrace that they charge so much for this run down hotel
We had x2 nights in two different rooms.
The 1st night in room 12, other than the location of the hotel, I can honestly say I didn't like anything about it.
HOWEVER on the 2nd night we moved to room 20, which we were happy with. An acceptable bed, great views, nice bathroom, clean etc etc!
Excellent location, steps from the Pantiles and High Street. Lovely couple own the cottage and offer a quiet, quaint place to rest your head after a day of being out and about. While the place is small, it offers everything you need including a small laundry.
This hotel was perfect for a single woman traveling alone. Room was very comfortable. Food good especially the breakfast and the staff were friendly. I plan to stay again in a few weeks as it's convenient for visiting family near by
The location was excellent a short walk from the town centre. The room was large, clean and comfortable. We liked that there was a fridge and microwave. The cooked breakfast was excellent.
Modest hotel, with very nice staff. Dated furnishings but clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast. Very conveniently located for the town centre with easy access to the surrounding countryside.
Lovely setting and the cottages are newly built, so was very clean.
Access to washing machine and dryer.
Pet friendly (cottages only, not in main hotel).
