The buildings are authentic, the sea view, the gardens, and the location all are great. Lots of nice places to eat are close, in walking distance. The staff is very helpful and so friendly. They even helped us for early check-in when we arrived early in the morning. During the stay it was silent and we had no disturbance from the room next door. The buildings has an interesting shape therefore we had only one neighbour room.

Fabulous view from room I was given at end of main hallway. Views from dining area are fabulous, as well. It felt very luxurious and relaxing, and it definitely gave it a resort feel, with the gorgeous view before you, and the setting. Food and selections/variety were good, also, and amenities were good, also. Maria at the front desk was fabulous, and the fellow who invited me in when I came to see the hotel, when I was considering moving to this hotel, was wonderful, also.

Location is excellent, just above the harbor area where there are numerous great restaurants. As a bonus, you can drive to it if you arrive by car (no climbing steep steps), and a parking space is included. The apartment is large, with a reasonably equipped kitchen, living/dining room, and small bathroom downstairs, and two bedrooms and a large bathroom upstairs. The bedrooms have small balconies with nice views.

Lots of tavernas and bars both on the harbour and in the town. There are several small supermarkets which stock a big variety, but don't think Waitrose. We liked the Tropicana platanos taverna, the seahorse hotel (to eat) and the bakery. On the negative side you will leave Molivos fitter than when you arrived. The streets are VERY steep.

The authentic architecture which is a mixture of Turkish and Greek style stone houses is fascinating. Great richness. The scenery from the castle, narrow streets from down to top, restaurants serving good food and the clean sea make it worth visiting Mithimna.

Mithimna is a really picturesque place which has retained its traditional character. There are spectacular views. The castle is well worth visiting. You can enjoy walking through the narrow streets and feeling is if you are in another time and place. Even in late October it is possible to bathe and there were a few restaurants and cafes open. There are many restaurants in the small harbour serving fresh fish and seafood.
Even we arrived late at night, we were welcomed with a smile and a bottle of cold water (it was 38 degrees at night). Keep in mind that this is a modest boutique place, not a 5-star hotel. That said: Very close to the center. Clean, decent rooms, limited but good breakfast. The owner is very nice. Make sure she makes a reservation for you at the famous Octopus Restaurant so that you get a nice table to enjoy a fantastic meal. I would stay in Villa Iris again without a doubt.
The hotel is very beautiful, exceptional. Everything was fine: spacious room, view from the balcony, cleanliness. There are many trees, bushes and flowers in the territory of the hotel so it is very pleasant to see that greenery around. Breakfast was really tasty, many choices and we like a lot that restaurant was so tidy and clean.
The owner of the hotel,Madam Zeta is a great woman. She is quite helpful and kind. The room was clean, breakfast was good but the best thing was the location of the hotel. A few steps later, you arrive a beautiful seaside and chyrstal Clear sea. Many restaurants, pubs and markets are close to the hotel. We strongly recommend.
Perfect location, extremely friendly staff and excellent cleaning. If you’re looking for somewhere you can enjoy both quiteness and seaside, this is the best option in Molyvos. This was my second time in this hotel and won’t look any other option for the next time too!!! With all my love to this hotel<3
I was visiting your hotel with my father and 2 kids, 15 and 13 years old.. We all like the hotel and the people stays in the hotel. At the end of 7 days, we had really enjoyable moments with the employee's working in the hotel. We will come back, can not get rid of thinking about their smiling faces:)
I have forgotten my bag in the hotel restaurant which it has money, credit cards and passports and left the hotel. When I noticed I called the recelption of the hotel. They have found it and kept it at the reception and gave me when I arrived to the hotel. Thanks to the hotel stuff and the management.
The location was ideal, within walking distance to a beautiful beach and with stunning views of the town. Walking to town was easy and there was always the option of a taxi back at night. The hotel gardens are beautiful and I appreciated their eco policies.
Beautiful hotel located just in front of the beach with spacious rooms.
Everything was well thought of in the rooms;espresso machine, kettle, kitchenette and even an iron.
