A very quiet, intimate Greek town. It has all the amenities you need for a seaside holiday. There you will find restaurants and shops, restaurants with sun loungers on the beach. Very nice and large, quiet beach, good for swimming.
Very nice and large, quiet beach, good for swimming. Food stores everywhere, easy to find cheap food, fish, vegetables, fruit, and chocolate cakes. Public market in the Neo Poroi every friday. We spend some time on the Stomio beach (in case of wind in Nea Mesangala) and on the "hippies" beach close to Alexandrini.

Nea Mesangala is a small village, very quiet with a wonderful view to the Olympus mountain. The beach is clean and sandy, there are also beach facilities available and beach volley is played every afternoon. It is plenty of space on the beach, sun-beds or umbrellas are always available. However there are no shops and only very few restaurants, so it's a good place to relax but for shopping and fun activities there is Platamonas at 10 km away. It is suitable for families with small kids, so a crying baby is usually a common sound.
