The house was really close to the beach. There was plenty of room and outdoor space for morning coffee and a late night drink. Pipitsa did make sure that all guests were satisfied. The beach was not really my style, but this has nothing to do with the host. Almost all the other beaches that I saw in Kerkyra were amazing. The food in the area was also great and not too expensive.

Roda is a cheerful holida destination with lovely restaurants and tavernas. Everyone tends to move between pools in different places and go to the beach. Its a very relaxing place to be. This is not somewhere for the luxury hunting traveller.

I can highly recommend The Yacht Club and Skouna Bar and Diner for excellent Greek food and great service. Dolphin Café is also very nice, as is Pirates, which offers cocktails with sparklers to get into the festive mood. I would not recommend Roxanne's because they did not clean the prawns before serving them and they were overcooked. An expensive poor meal and the management response was oh. The bus to Corfu town is fun, taking 90 minutes each way and passing through great scenery - good value for Euros 7.60 return and free WiFi!

We liked the smaller village atmosphere of Roda.
We liked the smaller village atmosphere of Roda. It's north coast aspect made it less oppressively hot than other places but the shallow beach ensured warmer water too. There are many excellent restaurants and we found people unfailingly pleasant and helpful. We particularly recommend Nikos Family restaurant, run by a charming family with a nice atmosphere and excellent food. Also Ammoz where we ate delicious sea bream and Roda Park restaurant next door to Nikos. Booking for all three needed in high season. We recommend hiring a car to get around to see more of the island but there is a good local bus service too.

The northern part of Corfu island is the most boring one, in my experience. The Roda beach has dirty water, you can't see anything if you try snorkeling. It's a very small village and the one club that this place has, it's always half-empty. If you want parties, go to Corfu town (east). If you want beautiful beaches, go to Paleokastritsa (west). I would only recommend Roda if you want a really peaceful, uneventful, relaxing vacation. But if you want to do fun stuff, Roda is not the place for that.

Roda is a small town but you’ll find everything you need in there: all kinds of restaurants, plenty of beach bars, small markets with everything you need for holiday. However the central beach was a little bit dull, we prefered the long beach towards Acharavi more (15 minutes walking). I recommend you to rent a motorbike or quad - there are 2 big rental companies -and drive around the coast, it’s fun.
We have been a group of 6 friend and 2 kids for a 7 day holiday. The location is great, they have several buildings with apartments, you have access to 2 different pools, 1 small play area for children and they have a private beach with umbrellas and sunlounges included. You also have a beach bar and a pool bar.
I would like to mention 2 of the people which made our stay at the hotel a lot better Yiannis and Khristos the beach bar bartenders. They have been great, always smiling and kind.
I will definitely come back if I had the chance.
Ria was amazing and super helpful. She answered really quickly and was always able to help us.
The location was excellent, really close to the beach, but far enough from the loud night parties, and the small apartment where we were staying was nice and shaded, we barely had to turn on the AC.
The cleaning was done everyday, and they provided us with towels and toiletries, which was nice.
All in all, our stay was nice, and we travelled a lot around the north of the island from Roda.
We'll definitely return here in the future
- Great location, near main streets and beach in Roda and taxi/bus stand only 1 mins walk where we picked up all the rides for our planned excursions
- They listen to feedback! I read the last review before I went that mentioned there was no hairdryer so I brought my own however during our stay the host brought a hairdryer for each room and it was quite powerful
- Clean rooms and regular cleaning
- Lovely atmosphere and gardens
- decent size rooms and comfy beds (I like firm mattresses)
Good and fast access to a sand beach. Nice internal gym. Hotel personnel in the dining places were friendly and accommodating. Received one hour more for check-out without extra pay. Hotel suite contained a private pool of 4m2 which was refreshing and ok for our toddler. The food is ok, esp. the pastries (we stayed only 2 nights). The common pool was very warm, our kids liked it. Some rooms has a pool shared with 6 rooms, it seemed quiet and calm.
The location was excellent, by the side of the main road, although balcony faces to the back of a building. Very close to everything and the best taverna in Roda is just there in the same street.
Convenient self check in.
Room has nice decoration.
Kitchen had everything we needed for 2 weeks and got new clean towels after the first week which was very thoughtful.
It is an amazing place. The house is perfectly fits families. It is right in the heart of Roda. You just need 30 seconds walking to good restaurants, beach, and grocery store. The closest beach is perfect for small kids. The house owner is very responsive at any time, and will be supporting you each minute during your stay :-)
I would love to return here again.
The location is very central to everything in Roda. The rooms were a good size and they had all we needed for a pleasant stay.
The swimming pool was just across the road and was perfect for a good swim.
There was a bar which served all kinds of drinks and crisps.
Elena was a great host, and she helped make our stay that little bit more special.
Great staff, good location if you rent a car, close to shops and restaurants, close to Roda beach, quiet during nightime, thank you Yvonne for everything! We booked 2 studios, one for 2 and one for 3 persons for 1 week. We enjoyed our stay at this complex, the garden is lovely, the property is well maintained, the rooms are clean and modern.
Everything was excellent. The apartments are really close to the beach, restaurants and everything else in Roda. The rooms and the garden are really well maintained and very clean.
Ria is extremely nice and accommodating.
We’d definitely stay again at Kerkyra if we visit Roda again.
Great value for money!
Loved the hotel, the hospitality of the owners.
We were met at the airport, the hotel ordered a cab from the airport.
Cleaning was made every day, delicious food in the hotel. Pleasant prices.
Well-maintained green area in the garden of the hotel, beach is across the street.
I highly recommend this hotel
The room was nice, not so big but fully ok for us, especially considering the balcony which we used for breakfast and sometime dinner. Walking location from the center and Roda in general is well located to reach the different beaches in the North side of the island.
Beautiful apartment in Roda. We really enjoyed our stay. It was close to the main village and close to the beach. The place is new, comfy and well decorated. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back here
Good location, вeach is short with wet sand all the time in October. Water not so blister. Room is good, with nice sea view from balcony.Good and diverse Swedish table food. Very quiеt hotel.
This is a beautiful hotel a few metres from the sea, excellent service, staff very friendly and eager to make sure your stay is amazing, breakfast and dinner was truly great!
Clean, on the beach, modern. Very friendly staff, always smiling and willing to help. The restaurant in front, which is the best on that beach, gives a 10% discount.
We really enjoyed our stay in Roda. Both the owner and the cleaning lady are extremely nice and helpful and I would recommend this apartment for holidays 😊
Great place with great service by Petros. It is near to the beach and you can hear the waves. You can find the best frappe in Roda. The pool very relaxing.
