The nearby beach is calm, very clean, shallow water and makes a perfect precondition for a relaxing and calm stay. The villa has easy to access parking with wide parking places. The yard is sunny, well-maintained, and is one of the main reasons why we would consider the place again if we visit the region in the future. Inside everything was according to what we expected - well equipped kitchenette (oven, microwave, toaster, stove top), AC and even a smart TV on which we could use our Netflix account. All of the windows and the main entrance door were having mosquito nets. The hosts kept at distance and respected the privacy of all of their guests. Sleep quality is good, mainly because of the calming surroundings (but definitely not because of the mattress). We liked that there were a couple of cleaning tools, so that we could keep inside somewhat clean. The noise from kids playing in a nice yard is both expected, acceptable and even a compliment for the yard, so I would not personally complain. The yard has multiple (3-4) outside areas to sit and BBQ, which is very thoughtful. The best shop nearby is Happy Market in Sykia and the best tavern - To Akrogiali, which is by the sea, on the other end of Sykia beach.

The host Malama is friendly. Although she can’t speak English, we still can feel her hospitality. She offered welcome Greek coffee drink when we arrived. Inside of our studio is a little dark but there are a lot outdoor space. The location is good, just across the street then arrive the beach. I watched sunrise on the beach directly front the apartment. There are many nice, quiet and clean beaches near the apartment. That is benefit to stay in Malama room.
