Archontiko Soulitioti is a wonderful country inn in the village from which my wife's grandmother left for America over 100 years ago. The innkeepers were wonderful, the gentleman even stopped in the taverna where we were eating dinner to ask if we were ok, and telling us that he was going to the next village, but would be back soon in the event we needed anything. The lady was very friendly. The rooms are simple and rustic, but tastefully appointed. The bed was comfortable. The entire building was spotless, and in perfect repair, despite being 200 years old. The breakfast was delicious. The view from our balcony was great, and made us feel as if we were truly in another time. The village is very charming, but drivers should be prepared for very narrow streets.

We stayed at Kallisti for the first time. It's more than we expected. The host are very nice and friendly, treat every guest as a family. We didn't have a feeling that we were on vacataion, it was more as visiting a friends. Dimitris is a excellent chef, everything we ate was delicious. We will definitely go back.
