Location unique, but easy to get to/from via hourly bus and free pick up & return service from main town & ferries.
The beach & water views are stunning day or night. The breakfast buffet was comprehensive and delicious-hotel also serves lovely lunch and dinner (shoulder season was buffet dinner-which we enjoyed one night).
Also, the website pictures as of October 2023 don’t reflect re-do of front entry which is even prettier & welcoming. We enjoyed both breakfast and drinks out there at night.

Lovely hotel. Excellent people. Can’t wait to be back.
Everything was very good. The only problem was the meet and greet, which didn’t happen. We had to find the place ourselves and even when we got there they weren’t expecting us. Thank goodness the cleaner was there to let us in. Otherwise, all was good. Would definitely recommend this place, room 8.

Symi is very beautiful and there are some lovely restaurants along the harbour. We would recommend walking up to the lovely church on top of the hill that you can see from the harbour as the view is fantastic. The closest beach didnt seem to have much there so and was very small so we walked along the rugged coastline but it was very rocky to get down into the water! We walked to the village Chorio high up in the mountain where there is a pretty church and an amazing view of Symi. It was lovely to see mountain goats and see chickens along the rugged pathway. We wish we had stayed another day so we could have visited the Monastery.

Symi is a beautiful little island, with an abundance of shops and restaurants to browse and choose from. We stayed around the main harbour area and didn't feel the need to hire a car or take a bus anywhere. We were happy to relax on our balcony for the most part, read, drink coffee and people watch. We did venture to the walk to the small beach one day for a swim, which was lovely.

Friendly people and picture perfect. It was not overcrowded.
Friendly people and picture perfect. It was not overcrowded. The restaurants are plentiful and served delicious meals with fresh seafood. Ferries are available for trips to local beaches. Watching the harbour fill each afternoon with amazing boats and yachts was great entertainment whilst sitting at a bar.

Symi is a most beautiful and friendly island.
Symi is a most beautiful and friendly island. Most people only come for the day but it has more than enough to offer for a much longer stay. I have now been three times (for a week) and have still not managed to visit the monastery! Perhaps next time...
It is pretty cool to stay in an actual windmill, it opens up to a split level entrance, a few steps down and you are in nice little living/ dining room and a few more steps up and you are in the bedroom loft area. It is nicely decorated and has a wonderful view out over the harbor. You will be located up in the chora, which felt way less touristy than down in the waterfront area. Great more local feel to the restaurants up here. If you are looking for a unique and unconventional stay in one of the most beautiful Greek islands, stay here!
A warm welcome awaited us after we arrived at Kokona's. She is the epitome of what a host should be :attentive, helpful and she gave us some great tips at the beginning of our first visit to Symi.
Check in was seamless.
The accommodation was simply superb: clean, tastefully decorated and supplied with the best of linen, towels and toiletries.
The breakfast was superb. Everything was freshly prepared, served with style and poise and Kokona offers delicious homemade cake and biscuits. What a treat!
Well done everyone. Gerard & Ethna.
This is a traditional Symi-style building, with a Scandanavian twist. Really attractive inside and out, and spotlessly clean. It is right in the middle of the part of the island where local people live, not a tourist zone, but the tourist facilities are close by.
Because this is a real village, there are sometimes church bells, cockerels crowing, sheep and goats bleating, in the distance. A bit of real Greece.
Full size built in barbeque on the terrace. Transport provided for me up from the port as part of check-in.
I have done the best choice on booking this apartment .The room it s big, always clean, everything it is new and modern. In the morning the view shocked me how beautiful was.In 1 Min i was to swim. The surprise was beautiful, the welcoming gifts (a bottle of win,sea salt and honey).I fixed a face mask from the salt and the honey .IEvetyhtjng it s intime and quiet ,with style and beauty. The owners are very very nice persons .I think it is th best room that you can book in Symi island !Thank you very much !
The property was just outside the busy port area so was lovely and quiet. We could see goats up in the mountain and hear pigeons and cockerels close by which was lovely to be so close to nature. The view was lovely from the balcony particularly of the old church on top of the mountain which we climbed up the path to it with a most amazing panoramic view of Symi. The owner was lovely and helpful and let us store our luggage after check out. Symi is beautiful and one night just wasnt enough!
Our stay has been amazing: the location is perfect, few steps away from the sea front and quiet during night. We especially liked to spend the late afternoon or night sitting on the balcony, enjoying a drink with a wonderful view of Kastro (the upper part of Symi). We appreciated the cleanliness, and all the available facilities that make you truly feel at home. Not to mention the kindness of the host. We hope to come back here soon!
The booking.com reviews were very helpful and I requested room 2 because of this and was not disappointed. The communication from the host was excellent. The room's decor was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. Symi rises steeply from the harbour and it might help potential guests to know that there are 18 steps to the ground floor rooms, 4 and 5, and 33 steps in total to the upper rooms 1, 2 and 3.
A brand new apartments boutique hotel in the heart of the steep Symi village. The place is charming and cozy, very well equipped and has a nice view to the bay. The owner was very kind and responsive. If you want to feel the atmosphere of the village and not just the touristic area around the port it’s very much recommended.
Beautiful aparthotel right in the centre of Symi port area. Up a quiet, rather uneven road, but really close to all restaurants and bars. Beautiful pool area which was very quiet in October. Breakfast was good. Room was small but had everything we needed. Nice patio area we sat out on in the evening.
Loved the apartment and how it had ALL the amenities that any traveller could dream off. Location was excellent right by the sea …owners were very kind and helpful! Provided plenty of info and offers for my stay on Symi!
The location was wonderful and the sense of being in a genuine Greek home not a soulless hotel. We enjoyed that it was in a quieter part of Symi. It was well equipped and the owners were very responsive.
The views are exceptional. The atmosphere is very calm. Great for a romantic break. Easy access to symi by taxi boat. Maria and her family were very welcoming. I will definitely come back 🙏
Everything was so beautiful and the staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend them to meet you at the ferry terminal to show you the way to the accommodation.
