Magical place Felt like we were in a fairytale. Fantastic location to go hiking, a few local restaurants to try, great breakfast- Maria even made my husband some eggs cause he is coeliac and can’t eat any bread. Wonderful attention to detail.

Very friendly and helpful owner. Happy to provide taxi service. Being a guide, he had a very good knowledge of places to visit, and they were all good. Rooms clean and comfortable. Good breakfast served. Excellent situation for walking the Vikos Gorge. Good local tavernas. Easy to find and car parking available.

Hotel Machalas is a large complex of apartments. It is located in Kipoi village which is in central Zagori. The complex’s traditional architecture is based on wood and hand-hewn stone.

we (couple + 1 child) spent 3 night at the hotel. The room is small for 3 people with luggage, nevertheless, the hotel is very nice, clean and well maintained. The breakfast is small but very nice and sufficient. The service is great, giving you tips on travel planning.
