Quiet and pretty situation Convenient for town (short drive)
Very helpful owners. Good breakfast. Fortunately, on a Bank Holiday week-end, the owner was able to secure us a dinner booking in an excellent local seafood restaurant.

Lovely hosts - great size room and bathroom. Loved the Jacuzzi - spent 30mins in there! The room had everything from kettle to microwave and all the Nick nacs. Well done to Anna and Patrick! Thank you from Australia

A real pity to see this landmark guest house fall from grace. While the guest rooms were clean and comfortable, the property is nowhere close to being a 4 star Blue Book guesthouse. Breakfast was fine, with Ann’s homemade brown bread being a highlight; however it was a real pity that the full breakfast was nothing special and the scrambled eggs inedible.
Most disappointing was the seafood open sandwich which included some questionable tinned fish and didn’t seem to include any fresh seafood on the plate at all. We were hoping for a much nicer experience but it wasn’t worth €200 bnb so we won’t be back.

Our hosts were wonderful, fresh tomatoes and lettuce from the garden. Scones and home-made jam in the kitchen when we arrived. Supply of toiletries in bathroom as well as tea, coffee, cereal etc in kitchen. Made to feel so welcome. Loved exploring the garden, it is a gem. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, Rose and Siobhan.
