Hot in April. Never been in such a hot, humid place.

Hot in April. Never been in such a hot, humid place. Would go outside, do whatever I went out to do then back inside to lie under the fan. Heat rash turned to bumps and cuts. Light, cotton kurta would be wet by the time I returned. Ayurvedic massage, a coffee shop, walk to the beach, buy clothes. There are things to do if you look. In an ancient spice trading Capitol, breakfast was varied, then it was too hot to eat.

    A very classy nice restaurant.

A very classy nice restaurant. A warm welcoming, followed by an excellent service, with a lot of attention to details on order to please you. I took at first a tartare, the beef was excellent. With that I took a glass of the local red wine. Somewhat surprising, it does not taste like anything I have already drunk, but I kinda liked it. Then I took a marbled steak with homemade French fries and homemade ketchup (!). No word to say that it was awesome. The service always with a smile and very patient with us.

My recent visit to Cochin, Kerala was nothing short of...

My recent visit to Cochin, Kerala was nothing short of magical. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the beauty and charm of this historic city. Exploring the streets of Fort Kochi was like stepping back in time, with its colonial architecture, bustling markets, and vibrant culture. The Chinese fishing nets along the waterfront were a sight to behold, especially during sunset when the sky was painted in hues of orange and pink. One of the highlights of my trip was visiting the Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace. The intricate artwork and historical artifacts inside were truly impressive, offering a glimpse into Kerala's rich heritage. I also had the pleasure of indulging in some of the most delicious seafood dishes I've ever tasted. Whether it was fresh fish curry at a local eatery or a traditional Kerala thali at a family-run restaurant, each meal was a culinary delight. The warmth and hospitality of the people of Cochin further enhanced my experience. From the friendly smiles of shopkeepers to the helpful advice of locals, I felt welcomed and at home throughout my stay. Overall, my time in Cochin, Kerala was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to immerse themselves in the beauty, culture, and flavors of southern India.

The H&W hotel has great facilities that include Ayurvedic massages, various other types of massages and Foot Reflexology. Their masseuse and reflexologists are superb. I've been to them in Singapore, USA, and now twice in Kerala. They are the best I've had. The staff at the desk and the property are kind and very responsive. They helped myself and my grandson at every turn. I can't say enough about the staff and also the Manager. He took personal charge and was responsive to every need. Thank you all!
