The staff is super friendly, the hotel is a lovely structure, with beautiful views and common spaces. Breakfast is very rich and amazing quality, ad well as the food in the restaurant. Easy, free and comfortable parking is provided by the hotel, which is necessary in this area. Entry to a lovely beach and wellness centre is included. We only stayed 1 night because we had other plans, but we would have loved to stay much longer.

I follow this hotel on Instagram and really the pictures do not do it justice. The location is superb. Being right on the sea, falling asleep to the sound of the waves was really magical and I have never slept so well.

The place is not close to Sorrento if you compare the taxi rent which is 70 euros. Imagine if you do at least 2 trips. We instead used train which is very reliable and cheap and take 15mins to reach Vico. From there we used the shuttle bus which is very handy and takes upto 25mins to reach hotel. Or you can get down at Seiano but there is no dedicated parking for bus. It take hardly 5mins from there by shuttle.
Eden Bleu is set on the most beautiful beach of the entire Sorrento and Amalfi Coast. The hotel has a roof-garden with swimming pool. Rooms are typically Mediterranean.

Vico Equense is a small but lively town, very easily walkable, and with great connections to Pompeii, Herculaneum, Sorrento and more by train or taxi. We especially liked that it was not as crowded as other towns near the Amalfi Coast, yet has many opportunities to walk and see the surrounding area. We stayed at the Cubo Apartments, near the town center and loved it. We found some delightful walking paths, both down to the beach area and into the olive groves on the outskirts of town, as well as being able to walk the streets. We visited a number of restaurants, including La Salumaria, a great place for local beer, excellent appetizers and full meals, just off the town square. Gabrielle's is a popular walk-in place for sweets, sandwiches and gelatos, with excellent variety and service - a local favorite! A hidden jewel is the Museum of Minerology, also near the town center and with easy access. We spent several fascinating hours there, and were treated like special guests! We would go back to Vico Equense in a heartbeat!

Vico Equense is a charming town reaching from the coast up into the hills. It has plenty of restaurants ( a pizza restaurant which serves metre long pizzas )and stores and the best gelato place! The train will take you anywhere or take a bus but for sure wander the quaint streets and alleyways. Easy to fall in love with Vico.

Vico Equense is a charming little town with not too many tourists - at least not when we were there in April. The people were generally friendly and could speak english. It is a short 10 minute train trip from Vico Equense to Sorrento and about half an hour to Pompei.

Vico Equense is a small quiet town that is full of friendly and kind locals. Me and my family were so pleased that we picked Vico Equense over Sorrento for our stay. You will like Vico Equense if you like having a morning run up to the hill or down to the beach. We were so lucky that we could join the triennial Good Friday Procession at Vico Equense, it was just an amazing experience. If you like gelato (who doesn't!?), do try the brioche con gelato at Gelateria Gabrielle, it is so nice and you can choose two flavours! For restaurants, we love eating at Ristorante al buco; we went there twice during our one-week stay! Vico Equense is just a beautiful place, it doesn't take you long to get to the busy Sorrento, Pompeii and Naples Central. So yes, for us, just perfect!

Use local bus services and trains, cheap and reliable. Roads are choc-a-bloc!
Fab port, hire a boat to take you around the coast of Sorrento and Almalfi or take a ferry. It’s a great place and a lot quieter than Sorrento etc.

Vico Equense was the perfect launch point to see other places on the Amalfi Coast. The city itself is small, but has numerous restaurants, a beautiful beach and a lovely viewpoint and likely other attractions that I did not encounter. I chose this destination as I sought an affordable apartment with a kitchen for our stay. I love eating out while traveling, but I also greatly enjoy the food markets and being able to purchase local food and wine and enjoying it with a view - especially at the end of long day of sightseeing. Vico Equense is definitely a walking city. It is also incredibly easy to catch the train and/or bus to get to other sites. I would definitely stay here again.
We stayed here for 3 nights of our honeymoon & couldn’t have picked a better hotel. Ronato & his team are fantastic & helped with anything we needed. Breakfast each morning was fresh and healthy - we really enjoyed. The restaurant itself is fantastic also - we shared the sea bass one night and it was one of the best meals we had in Italy. Make sure you utilise the shuttle service and experience the restaurants in Seiano as food is fantastic & on the water. We will be back !
Perfect location - nice views, rail station close, you need to use steps
Super hosts - we arrived a bit early before check-in time, but felt very welcome and relaxed at the pool while our rooms got ready
Best breakfast we had in Italy - we stayed in different hotels, it was the only one with eggs and bacon possibility🙂
Very cozy resort, there is everything you need, perfect for families with kids.
This hotel is an absolute gem. I was wary of the area initially having previously stayed in Sorrento but Vico Equense was a much quieter & very beautiful alternative - and the food was amazing.
Special thanks to Alessia at reception whose restaurant recommendations were outstanding and to Mario in the bar who was such good fun & a great mixologist.
Will definitely be returning.
Pasquale and his staff were hospital and friendly, going the extra mile to pick us up from the train station, bring drinks to the pool and make sure we were comfortable. The hotel is newly renovated and it is beautiful. We loved the rooms with patios, the pool deck and the outdoor lounge. The wifi is great everywhere and the breakfast was soooo good. We’d highly recommend this hotel.
Beautiful location and scenery overlooking Vesuvius and Bay of Naples, very peaceful, would have loved a few more days to relax...but seeing Italy by train. My son loved having the pool to himself in the morning..lovely cakes and croissant for breakfast, and cappuccino delicious. Also thank you to the staff who picked us up and dropped off at Train as no car or buses to location.
First what You see when you doing your first step to this place - how much work and love hosts put in it. Clean, comfortable, with unreal view from terrace, where every morning you have tasty breakfast. We arrived after long journey in Italy, and stopped in different B&B, but this was the BEST! We really be happy to stay longer! Grazie mille! It is more then 10!
Frederico met us with a friendly smile and the offer of a drink after our journey. He was very thorough in showing us all the facilities in our apartment. We loved having the room tided daily and rubbish removed. The breakfast was bellisimo. So much food, such lovely fresh fruit, fluffiest omelettes in italy. Lots of space, washing machine was a major bonus..
We stay here because Positano was out of our budget. Vico Equense is a great little town and the hotel was excellent. Be aware that taking a taxi to Positano is over 100 euros. We took a train to Sorrento and then a ferry to Positano but it took a great amount of time from actually being in Positano. Getting to Vico Equense from Rome by train was easy.
I particularly appreciated the welcome, helpfulness and kindness of Elisabetta and Francesca and the breakfasts Elisabetta personally prepared for me, her sweets were delicious and all the information she gave me about Vico Equense and the surrounding area. In addition, the flat is quiet and clean, the kitchen is new and I felt at home! Thanks again!
We had an amazing stay. The owners were both truly amazing. We had a wonderful stay for my family and small children. Breakfast was delicious, the owners was extremely accommodating and went out of their way to make sure we had the perfect stay. We absolutely will be staying here again the next time we visit Italy
I loved Vico Equense. Le ancore is a small hotel with 7 rooms run exceptionally well and it has magnificent views of the marina.. The staff are so kind and genuinely look after the needs of the guests. Special mention to Giuilia and Dario. I look forward to a return visit.
One of the best places I have seen so far in Italy: great location, spacious newly decorated rooms and bathroom, breathtaking terrace with sea and Mountain View, which will make you happy! Noemi is a great host, caring, heartful and always ready to help! Highly recommend!
Excellent location, in the heart of Vico Equense, close to many bars, restaurants and shops.
The host was extremely nice and helpful.
Large room with comfortable bed, good air conditioning.
Private parking.
