I have been stayed few same hotel in the different locals. The room always clean and space is ok. If you are travelling by couple please make sure you are booking the twin bed room which can have bigger bed size. Their bed is comforable and under bed can storage the luggage so whole room not look small and still have space to go. Good thing is they provide the breakfast, not much items but enough. This hotel breakfast room is pretty small so if you like to eat the breakfast must make sure you find the spot to sit before you take the food. selfserve laundry service and printing give traveller very convenience.
I accidently left my computer in the hotel and their stuff is friendly to send the courier to another Toyoko-inn hotel which I will stay another dayfor me even use the poor english to communicate but big help. Strong recommend this hotel.

It might not be for everyone, have to take one stop to Ofuna to transfer to other JR lines but very convenient visiting Kamakura and Enoshima. Plenty of stores around Fujusawa station for shopping. Airport bus to Narita and Haneda airports, although schedules not as frequent as pre-COVID check in advance.

Fujisawa is wonderful and relaxed, and we come here at least 3 times per year to get away from the city. It's so nice to be able to come and NOT rush, which is why we now always stay overnight. Otherwise it's too stressful to do and see things and then get back on a train to go home on the same day.
There ARE vegetarian and vegan-friendly places, but you have to find them. Use Happy Cow or another search engine to research before you come. Otherwise you'll be eating dinner at a convenience store (which isn't awful). Also, there aren't many places to eat breakfast unless you're ok with just a bakery.

Fujisawa is a beautiful city.
Fujisawa is a beautiful city. There’s something for everyone to enjoy whether you’re a city lover or a nature lover, you’ll find something fun and interesting to do. It’s not too far from Enoshima which is a great thing, it means you can access the beach by train in 10 minutes

We stayed in Enoshima, mainly to see the sights on the island. We didn't plan to spend much time on the beach - the facilities are basic and the sand and sea not too clean, but you could safely paddle and swim if you wanted to. Enoshima Island was interesting, the views from the tower and the rocks and caves were good. There were good views of Mount Fuji. There's not much else to see in Enoshima but Kamakura is close by train and definitely worth s day or two.

It's very smart to find a hotel in Fujisawa for the stay, if you may like to visit Kamakura area extensively for more days. I didn't plan any trip to visit and walk around in Fujisawa city, since Kamakura gathers so many interesting sightseeing venues there. In my views, Enoshima is just normal, so it is not necessary to list it into the must-be visiting, neither to buy the certain Pass the tourism office is promoting. If you may have spare time, just walk to visit it and climb up the not-so-high hill.
It was a cozy, comfortable and quiet hotel with free parking. I liked the peaceful atmosphere, friendly staff, wonderful bath and shower with many amenities for comfort. The bed was comfortable and having a microwave and refrigerator made it very convenient for a long stay. I extended and ended up being there 4 nights. It was especially nice having the free drink bar. I think on weekends it becomes one free drink and then a small fee for continued use until midnight. I would be happy to stay there again and would recommend it to friends.
Very nice traditional Japanese-style hotel. In general, the room is quite big and clean. Good location on Enoshima island and it has an unusual cave bath and roman style bath, also there is a public outside swimming pool (but not so clean). The staff is polite and English speaking (but sometimes not too well). Japanese-style breakfast (but it's quite specific so you might not like it). We also had a nice view to the sea from our room.
The staff was so kind and helpful. They showed us to our room and around the facilities. The onsens were amazing- some of the best I've been to in Japan. Breakfast was great- so much food and such a great variety. They kept our bags during the day after we checked out while we explored. Would definitely recommend staying here. Easy to find, easy to access all of the activities on Enoshima Island.
The hotel was clean, Island colorful and airy. It also had a retro vibe and youthful vitality. Most of the guests seem young and hip.
The staff at the reception area could speak and understand English. They were polite yet engaging. The breakfast staff, especially Thor was friendly and helpful too insuring I had a very delicious meal.
Prime location, only 5-10 minutes from Fujisawa Station. Surrounded by restaurants, fast food chains, convenience stores, and Don Quixote. Seven Eleven is right under the hotel. Helpful and friendly staffs. Amenities such as night gowns, hair brushes, teeth brushes are provided in the lobby.
Great location, and the room condition was above our expectations. The host was incredibly sweet! Naoko san makes sure that your stay is comfortable and super easy to communicate with. She speaks fluent English. We'll definitely stay here when we visit Kamakura again!
All good for the price! Surprisingly there was a free breakfast included. Only problem is that the breakfast consists only of individually packed small pastries. Not exactly what I would expect from a breakfast in a hotel but it was for free so no complaints.
This hotel is very spacious and close to station. it’s just like a normal ordinary apartment for Japanese family. we could experience how people actually live in Japan. well equipped with stove and laundry and everything u need. highly recommend.
Very close to the train station, so if you want to visit Kamakura or Enoshima, this is a good place to stay. There are plenty of restaurants around the hotel. Free coffee all day long. Room is in good size. Very helpful front desk stuffs.
The hotel is in a very convenient location, right on the main almost pedestrian road that leads to the island. Many amenities are nearby, from restaurants to supermarkets. The room is spacious and clean.
This is my favorite place to stay in Fujisawa! The home is very new and the host has filled it with great extras like a coffee machine and everything you could possibly need for a lovely stay.
I am from Jersey, a place known for surfing and beach culture, and Fujisawa has a similar vibe with 8 hotel capturing it perfectly without going over the top, it felt like home.
Very convenient location to Enoshima Island and Kamakura sights, and good restaurants and Lawsons. Has Japanese beds and breakfast included, great staff.
