Breakfast would be cheaper if booked in advance. But, we had ABF at Komeda’s just across the small junction.

You are staying there Just for the sleep, nothing more.
You are staying there Just for the sleep, nothing more.
The room has it's own bath, massage chair, flat screen, all sorts of things.
But it is poor in terms of hygiene and room service.
However, you should keep in mind not to have high expectation, since it's considerably cheap.

Great area with stores open till late and an interesting place to explore on walks. The area was safe even at night. Sakai is well located between the KIX airport and Namba also is one of the express trains stops. Bars and restaurants open very late at night plus convenience stores everywhere open 24/7. Excellent shopping Mall there also and other supermarkets all in easy walking distance from the station.

It is my birth town.
It is my birth town.
This city is quite big as well as Osaka city but it is more residence city so there are not much tourist points. The new UNESCO spot imperial tomb (Nintoku Tennoryo) is there, but it is forbidden to enter and you can just see from the outside, just forest. So it is quite boring. The museum of Anfonse Mucha was interesting to visit if you like the art.
And being a residence city, it is hard to find hotels but recently the private accommodation is increasing so you could find much more options than hotels.

Sakai is a lovely, busy town.
Sakai is a lovely, busy town. I wasn't able to explore much of it yet, but from my short time there, I think it's not a place for first time travelers. Few signs are in English, so you really need to have at least some basic Japanese to properly ask for help and directions. But it's lovely nonetheless. I definitely want to come back and explore some more. I really recommend the Spa Hotel Sakaihama Rakuten Onsen Shofuku. That one place alone is worth a visit.
The location is extremely convenient for Sakai, and even for Osaka as a whole. It's 12 minutes via train to Namba Station, which is the heart of Osaka. Meanwhile, you get to stay in Sakai that has a much more manageable pace and not as many people - and a lot of great food and interesting sights to see!
The location is right outside of Sakai station, which is super convenient for traveling around Osaka. There is also a McDonalds nearby and some vending machines. The front desk held our luggage for us when we were checking out, so we could explore Osaka and then come back on our way to our next hotel.
The price is unbeatable especially for big families like mine.
Location is quite convenient. At least for our plan to be somewhere between Nara and Osaka.
Nearby there is a mall that you can get food and stuff.
Has its own parking space which accommodates fair number of cars.
The location to the train station from Kansai Airport and on to Osaka is very convenient. There are also a lot of great eating places close by. The hotel is clean, well equipped with professional staff.
APA hotel standard as to be expected. Waterfront is close. The area is relaxed and low key in total contrast to Osaka proper. Has all the facilities you need. Only 10 minutes on the rapid local train.
Location to train station very good. Staff and service excellent. Rooms very tidy, comfortable. Bar atmosphere very relaxing. Our Company always tries to stay here when in Osaka on business.
