Vaduz did not meet our expectations - perhaps because we didn't do sufficient research, but we expected something more quaint. Also, we arrived on a Sunday afternoon and almost everything was closed. Again, this was based on insufficient research on our part.

Tiny capital in a tiny country - perfect for a short weekend trip to a country most people haven't visited. Rent an e-bike to get around the country! Book a train ticket to Buchs SG in Switzerland and take the bus from there to Vaduz.

Gorgeous view from our room. Staff is very friendly and the room was very comfortable, quiet and clean. The restaurant of the hotel is also great and has many tasty options.
