The room was clean, the AC was working, the bathroom was solid and there was a fridge. The location of the hotel is hard to beat next to the ADO bus station, where also the colectivos for the ruins leave regularly. Staff is great. It feels safe.

The hotel is really well kept and the staff & maintenance is amazing! Our dietary restrictions were well taken care of & the food itself was really tasty, which was hard to get as vegetarians in the region. The rooms also were really spacious and amazing, and made you want to spend time in them. However, would have to say that the hotel is on the more expensive side in general.

Enjoyed visiting the ruins at Palenque, well worth seeing as they were in more of a tropical setting than some of the ruins we visited around Mexico City and it is still permitted to climb up to the top of some of the ruins. While visiting the ruins it was also possible to take a short jungle walk back down to the entrance. The town of Palenque itself was quite pretty with plenty of places to eat and the people were very friendly and helpful. We also took a trip out to Misal Ha and Agua Azul waterfalls which were interesting and fun as it is possible to swim in these areas.

I didn’t spend much time in the town, I was there for the ruins. Definitely take the tour though the jungle to see the ruins that are still covered with trees. Climb through the ancient Mayan Aqua duct, see the monkeys and try eating some termites. The whole experience in the jungle adds immensely to the site.
My guide was Victor, he speaks Spanish and English, very knowledgeable, well worth the money.

We stayed one night in town to visit the ruins
- had a good coffee
- nice evening walk in the town
- farmacies availeble
The ruins of Palenque was beautifull, due to construction/care-taking we could nog visist al the temples. I was sick at the time, but there were enough toilets on inside and outside the domain.
There is a second part more into the jungle where you can see more wild animals but my body was not up for that. As far as we could understand it does take a tour to do this second part.

You can spend weeks in that region easily, because there are too many beautiful things to visit and do. Waterfalls, Maya ruins, hours and hours of hiking in the jungle is all possible and must do. Palenque and Chiapas state offers lifetime adventures. Can rental is essential as the public transport is not really safe for tourists.

The big attraction for tourists to go to Palenque are the Mayan ruins nearby. The ruins are not that impressive. At the time of our visit, the area you could walk around was restricted to only the large buildings. Every few feet was a vendor selling all the same things as the neighbor vendor. This made it feel so commercialized and distracted from being able to enjoy the atmosphere of the ruins. Tikal blows this place away. The museum was pretty good. The town has a few shady blocks with some excellent restaurants in the tourist district, but the rest of the town is not all that special.
the place was just amazing. the staff was super welcoming and friendly and the rooms were a dream. highly recommended✨ we could easily take a ‘colectivo’ for only $20MXN to go to the arqueological area of Palenque (15 min away). there was an amazing restaurant 10 min walk from there too called ‘el Panchan’. from the bus station it was a quick 10 minutes taxi drive. we could leave all our things at the reception until we could do the check in. thank you for taking care of us!!
A nice hotel located within driving distance to the archeological site in Palenque. The rooms, restaurant, and pool are surrounded by huge plants and trees that make you feel immersed in nature. They even had a billiard table next to the reception where we were allowed to play late in the evening (reception is quite far from the rooms, so no problem with noise).
We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant. The food was tasty,
Everything, there's nothing I can think of that would make me say something was not ok.
Great Hotel, staff is 1st class and amenities just on point.
We arrived @ 7 am, and they gave us the room right at the moment. That helped so much because we had a rather uncomfortable all-night bus ride.
Great pool area, and the restaurant has amazing food at very reasonable prices.
Nice setting, in the jungle. Waking up with sounds of monkeys and hummingbirds all over the place. This hotel was literally next to the Palenque archeological zone. We had the deluxe rooms, they were not very large, but fine for us. Nice contemporary design. We would definitely recommend taking these rooms. Food was excellent at the in-house restaurant.
Very nice hotel just right across the street of ADO station. The ruins are super close. The hotel is in a hotel area in Palenque, lovely and quiet. However, to do the shopping or eat cheap street food (restaurants are pricey) need to walk a bit to the city center.
I liked the pool. Also, I could stay after checking out while waiting for my night bus.
Amazing place. Probably the best place of our stay in Mexico. Manuel and the rest of the people are so super nice. It has a family vibe. And it's the cleanest place. We tried to stay longer but of course there was no more available room. Palenque is amazing. You definitely wanna stay there minimum 4 days. So many great things to do in the area
Every time I visit Palenque, this is the place I book for my guests. And they love it. It's amazing, peaceful and wonderful place to stay. Location can't be better as it's located by the entrance in the National Park. You can catch the combi to the ruins just outside the hotel. And if you wish after walk all way down back..
Highly recommend
The property was located in a beautiful jungle location close to the Palenque ruins. There were many animals that could be seen while on the property. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel included a restaurant. The staff went out of their way on multiple occasions to ensure we had a memorial visit.
Perfect spot 10 minutes from the bus station. We had a cold AC room, comfortable beds and free water refills. We explored Agua Azul and the Ruins. The staff was kind and held our bags after we checked out until our night bus to San Cristobal. Perfect place for a quick stay in Palenque. Muchas Gracias to the staff
Peaceful, quirky, artistic. Adriana has a beautiful piece of paradise tucked away on the side of a lush tranquil pasture. It was a pleasure to stay here. Adriana said it was our hotel, and meant it. True hospitality is exceedingly rare. We treasure it when we come across it.
The property has private parking and wifi, is located near the town of Palenque with shops and restaurants nearby. The property is clean with office manager during business hours. The rooms are clean, spacious with a/c, tv, wifi, hot water, clean bed, bathroom and linens.
Clean rooms, friendly staff, all amenities, pool, restaurant/bar in the hotel, in quaint setting but very close to the centro. This is one of the best options to stay in Palenque, along with a couple other hotels also in La Cañada. Most rooms in the hotel have 2 beds.
The pool is great! Big and lots of fun features. The rooms were really comfortable and had air conditioning. the staff were super attentive and helpful. the surrounding jungle is beautiful. and super close to the palenque ruins so really easy to pop out to see them.
Centrally located hotel, easy to reach from ADO and to get to the main square of Palenque. Healthy breakfast with yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal and bread which is a nice chain from pan dulce or fried eggs etc. Would definitely stay again here!
It‘s a beautiful place in the middle of the jungle but it’s not that bushy like the cabañas on the other side of the road it that matters to anyone. Colectivos run often starting from 6am so it’s easy to get to Palenque city or the ruines.
Location is excellent. In the heart of Palenque and close to the ADO Bus station. Nearby is the Canada region with good access to good restaurants.
The rooms are a decent size, and there is a (little chilly!) decent sized swimming pool
My room and bathroom were quite spacious, very comfortable, and quiet. The windows in my bedroom overlooked the garden. The hotel is walking distance from the bus station and near a number of restaurants where I saw monkeys in trees.
The property is every well updated and the shower and hot water are amazing. The property review is featured in my YouTube video
