So chic and felt very safe. The staff were so friendly and the restaurant was amazing! My friends were coming over from the JW marriott to eat at Drift!

Great location in the arts district of San Jose del Cabo. Walkable to many restaurants and shops. Beds are comfy and rooms are clean. Also I felt very safe staying there. Would definitely stay here again.

It's right in the Art Walk district and near everything in town to see. I thought it might be noisy but surprisingly I heard nothing from the bars and restaurants in the neighborhood in the room I stayed in..It had a nice kitchen with everything and more that you would need if you were to stay longer..I just stayed one night to attend Art Walk and it was convenient and good enough for a one night stay.
I'm an older traveler and no one was overly welcoming but not rude or made me feel uncomfortable, although I think younger travelers are more likely to stay there. I stayed in a mixed 8 bed room and it wasn't full. Although I was the only woman, no one made me feel uncomfortable and were all considerate. They had a little cupboard you could put a lock on for your suitcase and my full size suitcase fit in it which was nice. There is only one bathroom with a hot water shower, which was occupied when I needed it, so I can't comment if it was a good shower..I used the other shower room with the cold water only and it was kinda gross, but did the job..You need to have all your own toiletries.
Check in was easy and I just dropped off my things and went out to enjoy the Thursday Night Art Walk which is quite fun..There are very expensive restaurants and bars in the area, but in the town square that night there were different vendors selling cheaper homemade food and there was live music. The streets in the area are closed off during the Thursday Night Art Walk so you don't have to contend with traffic and it's very festive around town. It looked like locals as well as tourists were all out enjoying themselves..
I felt safe at all times and locals are all very kind and helpful. Amazingly, no one was hitting me up to buy something every minute and that was very refreshing..
