Los Arcos Hotel - TULUM, hotel in Tulum

Located in Tulum, 2.2 miles from Tulum Archeological Site, Los Arcos Hotel - TULUM has accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace.

I don't know where to begin... I was so fortunate to have been able to call Los Arcos home for 11 days. And home it was. Everything about this hotel far exceeded my expectations. Location: It can't be beat. This hotel is situated two blocks north of the main road where all the action is, yet it's very quiet. Everything dowtown is walkable, but if you're like me and prefer to dine where the locals eat, there are plenty of options nearby. It is a 10 minute walk to the ADO terminal, and also very close to the Collectivo stop. Room: I was in room 14, at the end on the second floor. My room was remarkably clean, and huge! My room was freshened up daily, with garbages changed, bed made, and fresh towels provided. The room received a thoroughly deep clean twice during my stay, which was more than adequate. I found this room incredibly tranquil. The bed was so comfortable, and I can't remember the last time I've slept so well. The a/c worked flawlessly, cooling the room off within minutes after coming back after a day spent out in the sun. Facilities: It's obvious the staff take great pride in maintaining the property here. I enjoyed my evenings sitting on the loungers near the pool under the large palm trees. The pool was lovely. There is a fountain turned on during the day, so you can enjoy the sounds of water cascading down and birds chirping. I also really appreciated the communal fridge in the main lobby area, and even more, the hotel kitty Fanta kept me good and entertained. Services: The staff at this hotel are so very friendly and helpful. The ladies at the desk greeted me with a smile every time I came and went from the hotel. The daily breakfasts were also delicious, and the variety changed daily. The unlimited drip coffee was available at all hours which I appreciated greatly. I could say so much more, but I'm running out of space to leave more comments here.

Alea Tulum, hotel in Tulum

Located in Tulum, a few steps from Tankah Bay Beach, Alea Tulum has accommodations with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness center.

Please read thoroughly before reserving this hotel. While the location boasts a beautiful seaside area, our experience at this hotel establishment was nothing short of a nightmare. Initially, the staff seemed friendly, and the offer of boats and paddle usage in the sea was enticing. However, our adventure quickly turned disastrous. During our boat excursion, we were met with unexpected weather conditions, and a massive wave capsized our boat, leaving us stranded in the tumultuous sea. Despite wearing life jackets, we were left to fend for ourselves for over an hour, battling treacherous waves with no assistance in sight. When we finally reached the shore, the manager's primary concern was the missing paddle, rather than our well-being. To add insult to injury, they had the audacity to charge $83 for a replacement paddle, which I later found online for $30 on Amazon. Furthermore, the on-site restaurant offered overpriced, low-quality food, forcing us to venture into the city for every meal. The road leading to the hotel was unpaved, adding to the overall discomfort of our stay. In conclusion, this establishment prioritizes material possessions over guest safety and satisfaction. Save yourself the trouble and spend your hard-earned money elsewhere. Our traumatic experience serves as a warning to anyone considering a stay at this negligent and disappointing hotel.

This place is so wonderful! The views from our room was amazing & the facilities in our room was perfect! Warm water, great water pressure, fresh drinking water everyday! Jimmy was so sweet to make our trip more memorable, he upgraded our room to a dome room & let me tell you, it was fantastic! The drinks at the little rooftop bar were also very delicious & the fresh smoothie in the morning was just what I needed to start my day.

Tulum is literally amazing, I would recommend it to everyone. Some of the best places to visit while there : Gran Cenote, Tulum Ruins, Paradise Beach, kan lum lagoon. If you can go a bit further : Visit Akumal Beach for Turtles, Visit Sian Kaan and also Bacalar ! I would also recommend Chichen Itza and Coba ruins, there are many fantastic Cenotes nearby these two places too. Make sure to also check : Kaab+lab (brunch) Bar : Batey Mojito & Guarapo Bar (great Mojitos)

Tulum is a nice place to visit. But very expensive. Taxi’s are costly. Food and drinks expensive on beach side but a little cheaper in town. Because it is a jungle there are a lot of mosquitos. Depending on what type of vacation you want Tulum has something for everyone. Just bring lots of money.

A trip to Tulum just got much easier with direct flights from the US to the new Tulum International Airport. Then, the best and most affordable way into town is the ADO bus. Get the app and buy a ticket in advance and you'll be sure to have a seat. From the pueblo of Tulum, you'll need to take a taxi to the hotel (about 4.5 miles). The hotel has rental bikes you can take into town or to the Tulum ruins. Otherwise you can just chill at the hotel. There are also a slew of tours you can go on and the hotel staff can help you pick the ones that you are most interested in. Complimentary breakfast each day and decent food for lunch and dinner. Full service bar as well. We would definitely return to Diamante K for another relaxing stay in the future.

Tulum is not at all bad, they are lots of cenotes to visit & swim in nearby, the beaches are cool the (free ones), but better on the paid side. The food downtown Tulum ,especially the taco stalls and seafood restaurants are excellent.Make sure you have cash on hand. Most spot dont take credit cards. The beach zone is not really pedestrian Friendly, but still lots of restaurants, shops & beach clubs,. Also do your research & the taxis are here to get your $$$$ kinda over price ,also alway haggle the price down.Over all it was a great escape.

Beaches are spectacular, we rented e bikes which were a godsend as we were staying outside the beach area. The military presence was a bit intimidating and Tulum town is nothing special. I probably wouldn't go back and we were sorry that we didn't spend half our time in Playa del Carmen just for a change of scenery. We liked the beach bar Planca.

Amazing turquise ocean view from your private pool in the middle of the jungle, priceless. We felt like in a hidden paradise. So peaceful, quiet and private. The apartment itself is big enough as well, we love spacious flats (not a 15 nm hotel room), we could imagine to even live here for a couple of months. If you want to feel yourself like people in a luxury travel magazine cover, this is definitely your place. much better than staying in Tulum, here were NO seaweed, compared to Tulums beaches where the smell was horrible.

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, we stayed in one of the cheaper garden rooms & I was a bit worried the room wouldn’t be that nice but it was perfect. Lovely outdoor bathroom, & plunge pool outside. V private & quiet. The hotel is located a bit further down from the big beach clubs so quiet at night. Beach is stunning, as is the pool. Staff will sort anything for you, all via whatsapp. A real 5* experience which was a relief as we had a few disappointments in Mexico.

    - Beach was more clean than in the other parts of Tulum, smaller and private (only shared with some hotels) - Staff was always friendly and helpful - Breakfast is okey - Also food and drinks are good, but a bit pricy (as Tulum beach mostly is) - Room provides all you need and is clean - Location: perfect when you are fine with bikes, bus or Taxi for City center Please dont expext high luxury - this is a bit simpler but very lovely place providing all you need.

We loved the place. The last few hotels I've stayed in, it had a feel like regular hotels (standard Marriott type places). In walks Na'ala Tulum. It has a vibe that's specific to México. From the cool open air lobby, to the atmosphere (there was a live band randomly one night and another night hosted a live DJ at the pool). The shower was spacious. The balcony was nice for sitting. And the location was great! Right smack in the middle of things.

This hotel is beautiful!! The rooms are right at the beach, the whole hotel has a very rustic vibe which goes well with Tulum. This hotel is not in the middle of the city like others have already mentioned. To go to the city of Tulum we paid closed to $55 dolars each way which is kind of expensive. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The food was one of the best we had during our entire trip. Great variety, flavorful fresh stuff.

It’s a clean and cute stay, very spacious, pool is nice. We stayed in the pent house 3, which had a kitchen and a “hot” tub. Okay for 2 nights. Beach & ruins are far, but hotel is in Tulum city.

This was the best stay on our Mexico trip and perhaps the best value for money in Tulum area. Excellent facilities in the jungle and walking distance to the beach. Ivan was an excellent host.

It was our best hôtel experience in Mexico. Very clean, a luxury apartment, not expensive. Pool exquisite with plants all around. Fantastic experience. We highly recommend.

The private beach area is super cute, also the facilities are very nice, something I expect from a Boutique Hotel in Tulum.
