The property was ok, old but kept clean. The only problem was the noise from a bar until 3am. It is a busy town.

the way the city sits on the mountain is fantastically beautiful. It's all white buildings, very charming. The town itself is interesting to visit for an afternoon, or a day. The streets are very crowded with cars and there is a lot of exhaust, there are also souvenir and silver shops everywhere, so it felt extremely crowded and touristy. great church and zocalo, worth visiting for a day. I don't think you need more time than that. Also the caves on the outside of town the Grutas de Taxco are fantastic and totally worth a visit.

Beautiful tourist town.
Beautiful tourist town. All the businesses of the town were accommodating to non-Spanish speakers, and many shop employees spoke at least a little English. There were many people in the town square who wanted to "guide" us to various things with the expectation that we would tip them, but we were able to say "no" without reprisal. Many soldiers and Federal police officers were on patrol in the town which proved to be good for keeping the populace safer. Prices of souvenirs, food, alcohol, taxis, and hotels was very reasonable.

The town reminded me of Spain...charming, rustic, and with an old-world air. Loved the town. Wish I could have stayed longer than two nights and seen more. I hope to return one day. It is now a favorite town in Mexico.
Beautiful colonial town. Exceptional architecture. The ones with some money or with big money, trying to cash in more and more on mass tourism, national and international, building 2 and 3 more 3 floors for renters on top of old colonial houses and hotels. Height of these constructions not so impressive from street level, but scary, considering earthquakes, when seem from bottom of hill.

My hotel room was a dream - The large balcony doors opening up to the most beautiful view, the expansive balcony space to enjoy the crisp mountain air. The bed was so comfy and being able to sleep with the doors open at night was fantastic.
The location is perfect - and the restaurant on the rooftop provided a wonderful space to spend my mornings reading.
Access to the pool and the grounds was a huge perk as the days were very hot.
Everyone there was so friendly, except for the peacock. She was not interested in conversing with me ;)
Excellent facilities and staff. We really enjoyed our stay in Taxco because of the hotel. It was conveniently located at the town center across from the church. The staff was attentive. We loved the artwork on the walls, the pool, the furniture in the room, everything. We were only intending to spend one full day but ended up staying 2 nights and got to enjoy Taxco very much. Happy to learn that the owners are Mexican and it shows that they care about this beautiful property.
The location was fantastic. A friend from Taxco recommended the hotel to me so honestly I didn't research much about it.
But wow, it's literally right in centro.
We also loved that the hotel is like a little maze, with various terraces to explore.
Beautiful little hotel in an old building. Also has a mini cave behind one of the walls. Ask to see the mini gruta. Relatively close to the Zócalo if you take the street with all the stairs. Garrafón water is available to refill bottles.
The hotel was so beautiful and the rooftop terrace amazing with 360 views of the city! Beds were so comfy too. The building itself was an old convent and had such charm. The arts and crafts they had were also very tasteful.
The location is perfect. Every morning, fresh breakfast at the market. View from the Terrasse is great, hotel staff very friendly. I stayed 3 nights. Loved taxco. Enjoy this special town. :)
Beautiful small hotel with great staff, exceptionally clean facilities, good location, and good price!! especially impressed with how friendly and efficient all the staff is!!
Great location, safe surroundings and beautiful architecture. You really feel you are in a small town in Mexico and around the corner from the main square.
I was really fascinated by everything about the hotel. The attention of my co-host Luz is very professional in everything, the view is the best in Taxco.
