The town is very quaint and the house is wonderful. It has four rooms and a lovely kitchen. We ate a home cooked dinner at a place within a 5 minute walk of the house.

The garden/pool area is truly beautiful and there are relatively few rooms such that the hotel creates an oasis feeling.
The rooms are minimalistic, which I enjoy from a design perspective, however, at times it was hard to place your stuff. The AC and the are good and the WiFi is also stable. Initially, our room was very clean (see negative points).
All in all, the hotel is worth its money.

Our stay at the hotel Kinich Ahau was great. The room was big enough and had a hammock in the middle which was fun for the kids. Breakfast was delicious with some fresh fruit and granola, then pancakes or quesadillas. The owner was very nice and helped us with breakfast when we needed to leave early in the morning. Pool was nice and clean. Location of the hotel was good, we could walk to the main park and also to the Avenida de los Frailes.
