Located in Pátzcuaro, Hotel Casa del Naranjo has a terrace and bar. The property has a 24-hour front desk, airport transportation, room service and free WiFi throughout the property.

Gorgeous hotel located in the very heart of Patzcuaro on the main plaza. Manager Griselda was so very pleasant and extremely thoughtful with all our needs and questions, making sure our stay at Hotel Casa del Naranjo was the best possible experience we could ever imagine…and it was. Entire staff was so nice to us and the facilities are BEAUTIFUL! We ate breakfast in the hotel and it was delightfully delicious. Car park is very secure and close to the hotel. We have stayed in Patzcuaro central many times and this is without a doubt our favorite! We will make this our home away from home in Patzcuaro for all future visits!

Hotel Boutique Casa Colorada, hotel in Tzintzuntzán

Hotel Boutique Casa Colorada features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Pátzcuaro. This 5-star hotel offers room service and a concierge service.

It’s not what we liked it’s what we loved. This hotel first off is just beautiful. The attention to details, the art and artifacts, the decor and the interior outdoor living patio was so gorgeous. The staff was so attentive to every need including bringing our morning coffee to our beautiful room and serving us happy hour cocktails on the beautiful garden patio, completed with a charming wood burning fire chimney. Although the hotel is not walking distance to Centro, they accommodated us with complimentary car service. The hotel included a wonderful continental breakfast consisting of fresh fruit, yogurt, artisan breads, fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee, but a full breakfast menu is available. In addition to the wonderful breakfast, we had a wonderful dinner prepared by the hotel chef consisting of delicious salmon and steaks. Hotel Casa Colorada is a cut above everything else and we will definitely return for another visit.

We visited a week after Día de los Muertos and the cemetery...

We visited a week after Día de los Muertos and the cemetery was fantastic, with the circular pyramids visible in the background. Shops where you can discover the local crafts, we plan to go back and explore the Purépecha ruins and more. We ended up eating carnitas and birria in the nearby town of Quiroga where there is a beautiful church. If you don’t have time to travel to all of the little towns circling Lake Patzcuaro you can find many of the various woven things, ceramics and wooden toys in these two towns. It’s on an easily driven alternate route from Patzcuaro to San Miguel de Allende, or Morelia.
