The attic apartment has a lot of old world charm. It is located in the pedestrian zone, but still very quiet. A bottle of water and cookies left on the table were a nice touch. The apartment is large, well equipped and very clean. Instructions for finding and entering the apartment were very clear.

The staff were exceptonally helpful and friendly. They gave us great advice on what places to visit and the best way to get there. Also, the traditional Dutch breakfast was great. Having a hotel so close to the harbour was very unique.

Staff was very nice and available.
The hotel is located in a nice city near Amsterdam which is perfect. There’s also a lot of places near the hotel to have a good time.
The room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed and fresh beverages in the fridge. I would totally go back.
't Wapen van Middelie offers peaceful accommodations between water lands and beautiful green landscapes with tulip fields and old villages. Guests can also make use of the terrace.

On the photos it looked like they are closed capsules, pods but there was only a curtain to cover the pod, room was stinky, very crowded did not feel safe. the bed sheets were not put on the bed, i do not think it is not logical to expect us to put the bed covers and sheets. What am I paying for if i am not gonna get any service in return. There is no shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom. the shower water is a push button set to 30 seconds or less so absolutely inconvenient to take a shower. overall i would never stay in this place again, not worth the money

It is an urban city, but does not feel this way.
It is an urban city, but does not feel this way. It has many shops and supermarkets handy, like Action, Albert Heijn, Jumbo HEMA to name a few. Willem Eggert Centrum is there. Any kind of food imaginable from Sushi, Belgian Frites, Doner kebabs and sometimes you can find a Vietnamese truck selling Loempias, an Asian crispy egg-roll like spicy snack filled with meat, veggies, vegetarian and even a fish version, and with a spicy chutney sauce.
The Avia bridge is a must-see . Don't ascend if you're not comfortable.

Nice rural location with real Dutch feel.
Nice rural location with real Dutch feel. Good connection to Amsterdam by train and easy to get to in any case. Very good facilities with very fast broadband. Friendly and helpful landlord and lady.
Highly recommended.
Snags: There is a traffic ban to Pumerend from 0600 to 0900 and 1600 to 1900 Monday to Friday, depending on direction. Make sure you are coming the right way at the right time!
Our bedroom had a very steep staircase, so avoid if you can't use stairs.

Really nice accomodation!
Really nice accomodation! Situated in the citycentre of Purmerend. Near all shops, supermarkets, restaurants (Koemarkt) and public transport in front of the room. The room comes complete with all comfort a traveller needs! Including coffeemachine (Senseo with pads), fridge, double electric cooking furnace and normal double bed (soft). Also in this room a chaise longue to hangout on. A beautiful bigscreen tv is near the couch. The lights work with a remote control (touch sensitive). The bathroom is equipped with a good shower and needs some adjustment first. An combi-oven is also situated in the kitchen next to the table with three stools. When visiting Amsterdam or Volendam, this is the place to stay! The public transport brings you in about 15 minutes to Amsterdam Noord where you can travel to Amsterdam Centraal/ Citycentre. Bus 301/ 307 and 314 are the most used lines to Amsterdam of Volendam.

It is only 20 minutes from Amsterdam central.
It is only 20 minutes from Amsterdam central. Bus transportation is frequent and easy. Purmerend is a small town with some great restaraunts,Italian, Greek, Dutch etc. It is nice to have a quiet town in the evening after sightseeing all day. It is closer to Edam, which is just a 20-30 minute bus trip and a beautiful quaint town. Also close to Schwans and Volendam. The B&B was wonderful, great breakfast. The room is small but most rooms in europe are small, there is a lovely balcony to sit and relax.
I loved this apartment! It is spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Everything worked as it should - wifi, TV, cooking facilities, etc. The location is perfect - extremely central but in a quiet area. Purmerend itself has a great, historic town centre and there is very easy access by bus to Amsterdam, Edam, Volendam and many other interesting places. The bus stop is just a few steps away. Although I did not meet the host, he kept in contact with extremely clear, detailed and helpful messages. I have already booked to return!
Guests were very kind and here for us, they were paying attention to everything. They also offer us some wine from France, who was delicious. The studio was perfect and we did sleep very well ! We really like our trip to Purmerend, thanks to our hosts.
It is also very easy to go to Amsterdam by bus, after a 10 minutes walk you can take the bus and go for a walk in Amsterdam.
The very first trip together outside France and we are very happy. Thanks again Adriana & Nico !
This was my second stay in this fabulous apartment and I loved it just as much as the first time! The location cannot be beaten - just a stone's throw from the town centre and less than half an hour on the bus/metro to Amsterdam. The apartment is super clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Martin is very responsive to messages and the whole experience was perfect. Can't wait for my next visit!
A clean room in a nice and quiet location. A few minutes walk away from a bus stop and a 40 minutes bus ride away from Amsterdam Central station.
The hosts were friendly and responsive and agreed to an early check-in request.
WiFi Internet access was ok.
There's a sink inside the room but the bathroom is across the hall.
Unfortunately I did not have time to see the garden.
Very close to shops
Travel to and from ansterdam was easy, but expensive.
Buses and trains run up to midnight, I think the last is around 1am back to Purmerend.
Nice neighbours and neighbourhood felt safe would recommend LBGTQI l+ to come visit.
I liked the recommended activities and restaurant👌 but would like to know more about what Purmerend has to offer.
The venue was great value, clean and comfortable. Our host was super friendly and helpful giving us good advice and ideas. Also offering to loan supplies. Was easy to catch bus into Amsterdam and saved a lot of money that way (much cheaper than accommodation in town). Purmerend itself was a lovely town too.
The capsule bed was clean and really comfortable. Staff was very friendly and professional. The hostel is in the center of Purmerend and has excellent bus connections with Amsterdam and other cities in North-Holland. They also had a good breakfast deal (6 euro) with a restaurant just around the corner.
The privacy of the terrace and the pods and especially the friendly staff. The location is perfect, with the bus stop exactly next to the hostel with a perfect a perfect connection to Amsterdam.
The hostel is very clean. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Amsterdam.
The staff are very nice and friendly, cozy place to sleep and relax. The hostel are in the square of the city, so it is really easy to go anywhere (supermarket, restaurant, etc). Transportation to Amsterdam was very easy (they are near the bus stop).
I loved how the bunks were separated. The owner was incredibly kind, and I only have good things to say about the people who worked here. Best of all, the cost was amazing, especially for a hostel just under an hour away from Amsterdam.
I spend very nice time in Purmerend and the stays in this hostel is pleasant. You can meet many interesting people with diverse backgrounds. I am very glad that I picked this place during my stay.
very convenient arrive there by bus, there is a bus station just 20m away, and you can take it to Amsterdam center station.
stuff are very friendly.
provide free locker and free towel.
Clean. Modern design. Tasteful. Everything immaculate. Good continental breakfast. Pleasant hosts. Great location. Easy car and bus access to Amsterdam and North Holland.
Small loft apartment / suite finished to a high standard. Spacious, light and comfortable. Much better than a hotel room. Very friendly owners, greeted me with a beer!
