I loved the location, it's right next to the Estoril train station so perfect if you're coming from Lisbon and to the beach. There is a bit of a climb to get to the hotel. The staff was amazing and accommodating. The room was cleaned every day. The breakfast was a bit basic, but had everything I like so I had no problem with that. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by my stay and would definitely recommend this place.
Situated on Estoril’s coast, guests of Vila Galé Estoril can visit Tamariz beach, a 2-minute walk away. The hotel’s outdoor pool offers views of Cascais Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.

Estoril is a beautiful location to stay.
Estoril is a beautiful location to stay. Walking along the promenade towards Caiscais was wonderful and we got to experience the sea in many different moods, calm, stormy and just blue waves most days. It is so easy to get the train to Lisbon from here, just get a Navigante Occasionale card. We also used a very reasonably priced Uber to go to Sintra, which was stunning, a must-see. We had some amazing food, you need to try Manjar da Vila in Caiscais, very authentic Portuguese cuisine.

We came for a wedding, but have always stayed in Algarve, we visited friends who had a villa near sintra, we visted Cascias (drove around) and see a small bit of Estoril.
Having seen many wonderfull looking places just while driving about wished we had stayed in this area longer to visit and see more.
So intend to re-visit and see it all properly

We only stayed one night in Estoril.
We only stayed one night in Estoril. We spent the afternoon in Cascais which is really pretty and there was lots to do. If I had the choice again, I’d stay in Cascais. The casino is a big focal point in Estoril. We had dinner at Jackpot restaurant next to the casino which was very nice and the staff were really friendly.
2minute walk to beach and train station , Monte Estoril stop
Very friendly and welcoming staff , especially staff at reception and at breakfast . Shop on site and owner always had a smile for all customers
Great choice for breakfast-fresh fruits , pastries, cooked breakfast
10 minute walk to cascais
Great value for money , sorry to hear this hotel is closing in October
Some great value restaurants in neighbourhood and lovely cafe in nearby park
The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The staff lovely and helpful. The spa pool fantastic. The breakfast was okay but not what I would expect from an upscale place. The service at the pool was overwhelmed by loud, brash groups of American wedding guests which detracted from our stay. I am American and there were just too many other Americans acting like they were on spring break at this hotel to suit us.
The apartment was very easy to find in beautiful Estoril. The apartment was super clean and modern, really well fitted out, the bed was so comfortable, the shower was fantastic and the balcony was a real treat to sit, relax and enjoy watching the world go by. The location of the apartment was superb to access the promenade beside the sea, the walk to Caiscais and the train to Lisbon. We loved it!
Nice cozy hotel with a great atmosphere!
Clean, everything is modern with stylish details. Comfortable bed and good sound isolation from neighbours. The stuff was superfriendly and openminded.
Just couple minutes walking from beach and restaurants.
Estoril is a perfect area to stay, but you can also have a nice seashore walk to Cascais from there. Highly recommend to stay in this place.
Easy access to the beach, the promenade and the train. Excellent restaurants nearby, a great bakery, wine shop and grocery store within a block. The beautiful private grounds are very relaxing and comfortable. You will feel like royalty staying in a 19th century estate in the middle of town. You will be the envy of the people staying at the nearby hotels.
Everything’s clean and in a good state. Staff is very polite. Breakfast was ok (not very rich but, certainly, not bad). The room was spacious, warm, dry and comfortable while it was raining outside. Hotel’s surroundings (streets etc) look great. Kitchenette in the room is a great thing! Big supermarket is located not very far (Pingo Doce).
Wonderful friendly staff, nice hotel, very clean, daily housekeeping, good breakfast, good guest WIFI. Good location. Not far from the city train and bus stop from which you can get to Alcabides, Sintra, Cascais and Lisbon and other destinations. Cascais 10 minutes walk along the beautiful promenade.
Beautiful hotel, beautiful staff, beautiful location. It was a great final of our exceptional holiday in the amazing Portugal. Everything was great, and we only wait to visit InterContinental Cascais-Estoril again. Thank you for a great stay!
It was best place which we've stayed in Portugal. Even unexpected cozy apartment , so stylish and comfortable. We even decides to stay longer , but unfortunately it was booked already. Hope to be back 🤍 so kind and nice owner 🤍
Excellent location close to Estoril, Cascais and Carcavelos with train station and beach a few minutes walk away.
Large supermarket 100m away.
Landlord very helpful and flexible with arrival and departure times.
The Entire property was beautiful. From the portico at the entryway to the rooms, to the view, this is an exceptional hotel.
The staff went out of their way to be helpful. It is a great value.
Practical, with free parking, good location between Lisbon and Cascais.
Pedro was the most helpful host.
Not only you have a decent stay but in the same time you are helping the kids program.
The location is perfect for Estoril and you can even walk to Cascais. The room was big, really clean. We loved the breakfast options and all the staff was nice and helpful.
Location was great, but this hotel needs compleat renovation. It was straight from the 70’S. There was a smell of mold in the room, so I slept balcony door open.
